First class accommodation, excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff in a beautiful little village location! Far enough away ftom Hersonissis to be quiet and relaxed, but close enough if you want a lively night out or a day at the beach! Great selection of lovely little tavernas right on the doorstep! Ideal location as a base for exploring (a hire car is a "must-have" in order to get to know this lovely part of Crete)! Wouldn't hesitate to go back...!!!

Well I could spend ages to tell you about the village holiday club, for us it was like going back home and spending time with our family. Pavlos, Eni and Katerina made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. With the grounds and OUR apartment No 4 it was like we had not been away.
The pool snack bar again served up great food and as always fresh products. We are already looking at returning next year with some family to share our new home with. Based in the centre of the village and all bars and restuarants on the doorstep you could not wish for more. Thank you for our great time in Koutoulafari, miss you already

We have stayed here a couple of times before - and are glad to confirm that the hotel still delivers on the same solid standard. Best in Koutouloufari. Maintenance is needed though and must be priority in years to come. We look forward to return next year.

The village holiday club is a lovely place, the apartments are clean and a good size with light and airy decor, outdoor space and set in beautiful grounds.
The staff are so kind and accommodating, they looked after us so well.
There is so much to do within the resort and still manages to be peaceful and no intrusion from staff or other guests.
The pool area is great and the adjoining snack bar is lovely with an ideal selection of food and drink.
We will definitely be returning to the holiday village.
We were on a couples holiday but I have been with my family before and there were older couples and people with young children. It is a great place for everyone.

We stayed here in Sept 16 with our three year old granddaughter, with an RCI exchange. We were given a lovely welcome and the staff are so very friendly. It's located in a really good location, with numerous great bars and restaurants right outside. However the rooms are set back and so you don't hear any noise from the street below. The rooms are reached by a number of steps so maybe difficult for prams or wheelchairs, but the grounds are lovely. It only has 41 rooms and although it was almost full it seemed very quiet, not really a place full of families. The pool isn't large and isn't heated, but the sunbeds are the nicest I've seen, lovely cream leather. The pool bar served a variety of snacks but there isn't a restaurant on site. The rooms are lovely and well decorated and each one different, with an authentic feel. We didn't venture out much but Hersonissis is about a 15 minute walk away and there are plenty of local buses. If you are looking for a quiet, chilled holiday with nearby bars and restaurants of excellent quality this hotel is excellent.
