“A modern twist”
Reviewed 16 August 2014 via mobile

There are many ' tavernas ' in the area, but d'vine takes greek food to the next level. Don't be fooled by the modern layout - this is traditional Cretan good at its best! And in well designed ( and impeccably clean ) surroundings. Prices comparable with the competition, food above average in presentation, portion size and value for money. Wine best we found! Service from Ioanna and team second to none - a must visit!

“Good food and nice staff”
Reviewed 14 August 2014 via mobile

We had dinner there and I had fresh fish. It tasted very good direct from the grill. I liked it. The staff was also very nice. They offered us some raki and fruits after dinner.

“Great Food”
Reviewed 11 August 2014 via mobile

We picked this restaurant on a bit of a whim, as the place we wanted to visit was full, and was so glad that we came. It has a more modern look from the outside than some of the more traditional places, but don't let this put you off.

The restaurant is still quite new and they are obviously trying to establish themselves. They are certainly going about it the right way. The service was fantastic as was the food. Freshly cooked and tasted delicious. I really couldn't fault it.

Don't overlook this place, you will not be disappointed.

“Best out of 10!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

The girlfriend and I visited this great little restaurant on day 10 of our 2 week holiday in Crete. Having dined at different restaurants each night, we finally worked our way to this one located at the end of the main street. The service in this place was head and shoulders above the competition, and the standard of service we have received night in, night out has been exceptional. It was down to the lovely waitresses who were just so lovely, attentive and clearly bothered about their customers. Also when we left they shook hands and kissed which I thought was lovely.

The food, both my girlfriend and I thought was the best so far also. I had a mixed grill which was freshly charred and cooked to perfection. Warm bread and dips were served prior to the main dishes which I thought was a nice touch (that the bread was warm and fresh).

The girlfriend had chicken alacreme which I also tried and we both thought it was totally gorgeous. The portions were exactly right and we left full up!

To finish the usual plate of watermelon but with also nectarine and peach slices. Instead of raki they gave us a creme brûlée which I also thought was a lovely touch.

The dining experience was exceptional overall and the dining area was really nice. We sat on the side balcony which was really nice.

This restaurant will be number 1 rated in no time!

A definite MUST!

“Amazing meal with an amazing host”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

We ate here after a week trying various restaurants in the area. WOW!!!!! The welcome was lovely, rose wine, starters, amazing lamb kleftico and local fish. The host also directed us to a local dessert which was lovely. All for 50euros. Believe the advice he gives you about his amazing food. It is worth it.
