The hotel is three storeys on the coast in Kupang, West Timor. There is fenced parking out the front of the hotel and a function centre and restaurant beside it.
The staff was friendly though their English was marginal. I was shown a downstairs room which I rejected and an upstairs room. The room was spacious, simple and reasonably clean. The bed was fine and he toilet okay. The toilet door didn’t lock and threw s a manhole in the ceiling of the toilet. It didn’t feel secure but a tie around the toilet handle fixed that problem. The room also had a hole in the ceiling caused by rain. The air con worked fine.
The hotel is well position being in easy walking distance of the coastal shops and squares. These are nice places to sit around and chat.
The roof of the hotel is the best feature with sweeping views along the coast.
The night I stayed there wasn’t a lot of noise but it echoed down the corridor. It woke me periodically until it ceased.
The food was poor. No one seemed interested in serving me. The breakfast was terrible with eggs dripping with oil. I decided that id skip breakfast and lose some weight.
Generally, it was cheap and with ear plugs and eating elsewhere it would be okay.More
