Solunto ruins are really amazing! The view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking and when you walk on the remains of the streets of this ancient city you can feel the life that has been lived there so long ago. There is a museum that you enter through and exit as well - many artifacts found in Solunto are on display - even a real size marble statue of a Muse. You can ask the guides when buying your ticket (€3 per person) for a free guide in English, as most of the descriptions are in Italian. If you know what you're walking though it makes the tour much more interesting.
Make sure to get some sun screen, hat and a bottle of water, as the sun is really roasting up there. And take loads of pictures :)
