“Great alternative to the supermaket”
Reviewed 10 June 2012

A great find after we moved to the area. If you want to avoid supermaket shopping this is a wonderful alternative.
I can find most things I need for day to day living. I am not a lover of frozen items but this place has shown me it can be good.
Excellent selection of fresh produce as well.
All in all a good find

“quality yummy food very popular”
Reviewed 19 May 2012

Friday Street Farm Shop is just off the A12 midway between Ipswich and Lowestoft, by turn off to Aldeburgh. There is a farm shop and PYO in season (great) and separate cafe. I've been going there for some years. It's great just to pop in for a coffee/cake, or something more substantial. Its a nice clean attractive cafe with places to sit outside also.

The food appears to be home made, the best brocolli and stilton quiche I've ever tasted, really thick and tasty (and not soggy!) served with salad, coleslaw and new potatoos, about £6- £7. Several quiches, good choice of hot and cold food, scones, lovely cakes, deserts including several yummy roulades, Sunday roasts are very popular and advisable to book. They recently started serving breakfasts. I think they stop serving at 4pm.

Service friendly and professional. Can also buy and take away items. Well recommended.
