“Idyllic location in Castra Verde”

Monte Da Quinta is a converted local farm - with every modern amenity and a smashing couple of hosts. You won't do better. I can fully recommend a stay here you won't be disappointed. Both cottages have two bedrooms and both are en-suite. The pool is very well maintained and a pleasure to use. The surroundings and grounds are in keepinmg with its local situation. Each cottage is very well appointed and has everything most families would want. You must give it a try - we shall be back again next year - old age permitting !!!

“You will not be disappointed with this wonderful location and welcome”
Reviewed 13 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

When you drive through the gates you cannot help but be impressed by this beautiful property and you will not be disappointed. The animals are a delight as were the oranges eggs honey marmalade and vegetables. Nigel and Michelle are excellent hosts who went the extra mile on our behalf. The cottage has everything to make your stay comfortable.A little bit of paradise in Portuagal.

“The most relaxing and wonderful place to stay”

We stayed a week in Castro Verde and had the most amazing time. The hosts Nigel and Michaela are fantastic, warm and welcoming. Any questions or problems they are always there to help. If you want to be left alone, that is fine too.
The property is fully equipped with everything you can think of.
Nigel was kind enough to drive us one day to a vineyard so we could enjoy the wine without driving. Great stay and great hosts! We look forward to going back.

“Fifth visit amazing place to relax and unwind”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

What an amazing place to stay excellent relaxed environment with easy access to local restaurants in the town walking distant away. We have stayed here five times and it's outstanding. Michaela, Nigel and Brads are so welcoming and are on hand when needed. The farmhouse has all mod cons but maintains that rustic feel. Can't wait to go back

“Idyllic family retreat...”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

A well equipped home from home villa in a beautiful setting with wonderful views and a fantastic swimming pool. Everything you could ask for a family with young children. With toys, books, dvds and stuff for the beach if you fancy a drive to the coast.
Lovely hosts, felt very well looked after, enjoying their home grown produce and feeding their animals.
On the edge of a small non tourist town with good facilities with nice restaurants that were very good value; a couple of supermarkets and a lovely little play area for our 3 year old.
All in all a fantastic holiday, didn't want to go home......
