This is a very interesting road along which house and farms have little shops an exhibit for food, arts, and crafts. You can find anything from cheese and jam to clothes while visiting farms, seeing animals, learning about cheese process, and having a great time.

Caminhos de Pedras is a well troden road where the first Italian settlers dwelled and worked. It features a variety of tipically Italina stone houses, vineyards, dairy and crafts shops. Don't miss it!!!

There are pre-organized van groups, but for R$70 we had a cab for own own stopping only where we asked him to.
The caminhos is where the first italian settlers came to and built their houses with stones and wood. Beautiful scenary.

Nice ancient houses, nothing more. Just drive around, or bike around. 45 minutes will be more than enough

Nice scenery, good restaurant, cheese shop. This is a lovely route to take when you visit Bento Goncalves, RS, Brazil. The route is an easy less than a couple of hours without stops from Bento Goncalves and there are a number of wineries along the way that are well marked.
