Great hotel. Everything you would expect from Premier Inn. Very fast check in as used automatic booths. Room great (207) for family. Not a great view, but then this is on a main road, next to a multi story. Sound proofing great no disruption form noise. Hotel great - perfect for our family (2+2). Parking was good too (£5 for 24hours) in their private multi story - not good for larger cars though, so VERY tight turns and very small spaces.
We had the meal deal. There was a lot better choice than in some Premier Inns for this, however this is where we had our problems. drinks order - wrong, food order - wrong, forgot our dessert order completely. We had 2 very tired children and were waiting 45mins between each course, it wasn't even that busy. It was halloween evening, and we think the staff were looking forward to a party evening, so not really concentrating on the meals. We recently stayed in another Premier inn, they made a very slight mistake with our meal - we had a free round of drinks to compensate - here nothing, although they did apologise. The food itself, when we corrected it, and actually got it was nice enough. For steak eaters - I order a medium it came out still bleeding, so do be careful how you order your steak. Due to all our problems - we didn't tip. But I would have expected something to compensate.
Hotel perfect position for the races and for Hampton Court. So great location, not bad for a trip into London either, although no underground connection, so will have to use overland trains.
Would I stay again - yes, but wouldn't do the meal deal, plenty of local fast food and take aways locally.
Breakfast - the usual premier Inn offering. Great for setting you up for a day of sightseeing. We always fill up, then we don't have to worry about lunch! It was a bit cramped, but fine.
On carparking - make sure you get the exit code before you leave, as you will need this to open up the gates.
I was very impressed with the level of security at this one.
