I experienced FitFarm in Dorset 7th - 11th July 2014. First, we were blessed with wonderful weather, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
I was only 1 of 2 men amongst around 20ish women, but did not feel out of place at all and met some really friendly, nice people on the course, we all shared the same goals, to lose some weight and increase fitness and the surroundings, location, staff and feloow course members made the whole experience really motivating.
The course itself I found was excellent, encouraging you to push yourself when you feel like taking it easy or stopping, but realising you can keep going. Thanks to Ian, Andy, Suz, who all put 100% of their commitment into making sure we realised our potential and encouraged us to keep going!
Loved the food as well, as prepared and tasty, the portions were a lot smaller than I would serve myself, which made me realise that I overeat by at least 2x, as learning to eat slowly and enjoy it, I didnt feel hungry once, and most surprising ,I really didnt crave sugerary snacks like I thought I would!
I've kept this up since I've been back and the bad eating habits are greatly reduced, I still have the odd treat, but its occassional now, instead of every day. I also have kicked started my excersie routine and have not put any weight back on. After losing 7Ilbs and 2.5 inches off my waist in 4 days, thats a great achievement for me!
A great thanks to the FitFarm team, I absolutely reccommend doing this to anyone, and will definately do another one to boost my fitness and weight loss, which I now understand is a lifestyle rather than a quick fix. LOVE FIT FARM!!!!
