“Good but check which shows are on before going”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2014

If you have a 10 trip zone card, it is 4 punches there and 4 punches back. Plus the 110 kroner entrance fee, that's quite a lot. It also would take your entire day since by the time you get back into the city others things are likely closed. So do check out what artists they are featuring at the moment so that you make a conscious decision whether it's worth it for you to go. When I went, the Riverbank piece took up half of the place, I think I would have rather seen the other pieces of art that normally hung in that space which is now not on show.

The sculptures and the landscape are beautiful. Food in the cafe also good. I imagine it would be best to go in one of the evenings when they close late so you can use the day time for other activities in town.

“Perfect location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

We took the train from Copenhagen and within 45 minutes we were at the museum.
The building itself is perched atop the hill overlooking the sea and you can see Sweden on the horizon.
You need a good few hours to explore the museum itself as well as the grounds which are an art form themselves with amazing trees.
The buffet in the cafe is excellent value serving some of the best rye bread I have ever tasted.

“The building and landscaping is better than the art”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

It's worth going here just to see the building - absolutely stunning with lots of glass and views. The art is okay - better than Arken but still an acquired taste.
