If you don't speak Chinese, you may have a tough time of it here. One staff member speaks a little English and he does his best to help when he's working, but if he's not on duty, you are out of luck if you have a problem.
The room is spacious but no frills. It's clean except for the carpet, which is not only stained and grungy but appears not to have been vacuumed recently. The bed is very hard -- like sleeping on a boxspring. The a.c. is excellent and there is a good-sized refrigerator in the room. The towels are thick but some are frayed and actually have holes in them. Slippers provided.
Single rooms have no view at all. Horrid. Double rooms overlook new construction. Eventually a high rise will be directly across from the hotel, but for now you can still see the bridge in the distance.
