From making the arrangements to the check-out, we were so impressed. The Sleep and Sheep special provided us with tickets to see a rockin' music performance at the Black Sheep Inn concert venue! Dawn was a fantastic host, making us feel very comfortable and welcome. The room was cozy and clean. We had a great time at Mon Petit Chum before and after the show. The morning before we left Wakefield, Dawn prepared a delicious breakfast! Overall, it was such a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this package! With that being said, we will most definitely be back!

This was our second visit to Auberge Mon Petit Chum during the past year. Once again we took advantage of a Sheep and Sleep package and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We stayed for one evening on December 8th, 2011 and were treated to the fantasy suite and had some marvellous belgian waffles with fruit in the morning with hot coffee and tea brought to our room. The proprietors Dawn and Seb make you feel like family and are very accommodating for check-in and out times, dietary restrictions, and anything else you may need. This Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located close to many of the village's charming establishments including one of the region's best live music venues. We will be staying there again!

Thank You Dawn. The extra attention you offer your clients is appreciated. We have stayed at many Bed N Breakfasts and the accomodation and the breakfast you provide is at the top of our list. Not to mention all of the extra's that you offer. Booking restaraunts, a show at the Blacksheep, tickets. We haven't stayed at too many places, I take that back, I have never stayed at a BnB or hotel and felt so well served and welcome .

Thank you for the stay - We'll Be BACK!

Superb place to get away in Wakefield. We skied in the Gatineau park, had a wonderful relaxing time in a wonderful, clean, large, room. Dawn gave us several great dinner recommendations, and we went to the Blacksheep Inn for a show. Dawn had even picked up the tickets for us. The breakfast is really fantastic, we will return.

The extra hour my GPS tacked on, taking us through part of Gatineau Park on the way to Mon Petit Chum, put me in a "Yes" frame of mind when Dawn met us in the parking lot with a welcome tumbler of gin. Who does that? Mon Petit Chum's proprietor, Dawn, does. Our room, The Black Sheep, named for one of Eastern Canada's milestone live music venues, was ready for us with a crisply linen-ed sleigh bed, fluffy bath towels, and all the little things you might forget to bring (silk bathrobe, your favourite tea). A list of great Wakefield dining hot spots & amenities was provided--without asking--and for breakfast, all our dietary needs were accommodated with aplomb. My dream of discovering a stress-free, uncluttered, bilingual, culturally relevant, weekend-away B&B is Mon Petit Chum. Worth the 5hr drive from Muskoka.

We all need a stiff drink after a long drive, especially when the GPS gets it wrong and adds an hour to your travel time! It was a pleasure having the 3 of you stay here! Hope to see you again soon! I will make sure to get more Gin! Dawn

We came in from Los Angeles and were taken by both Wakefield and this very specail B&B. What a maximum pleasure, we will be telling all that venture in Wakefield's direction all about it.
Dawn and her extraordinary family were la creme de la creme, accommodating our needs effortlessly and with so much warmth. As we walked into the village to dine for the evening, our trip took us a mere 15 minutes from door to the furthest door in town. What a magical place! Dawn gave us a tour of the rooms, each bearing different themes which we felt would suit the needs of anyone. We wished we could stay longer. Thanks Dawn & Seb! See you again soon xoxo

Thank you both so much! We are so glad you were able to get a night out in Wakefield before heading back to LA. Veronica was asking when you were coming back! You made new friends at Mon Petit Chum! Wakefield is now covered in snow! See you next time! Dawn & Seb.

At the end of a business trip to Ottawa, we decided to spend an additional night in Wakefield before heading home. We researched the area and places to stay quite extensively before settling on Mon Petit Chum. This is our 6th b+b experience and it measured up to our expectations. Dawn welcomed us warmly, referred us to excellent local eateries and directed us to Lester B. Pearson's grave. We were in the room filled with trinkets from around the world, which took us back to our 60's roots :-) Everything was clean and comfortable and we were made very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed flaking out in our room when we got back from dinner and watched Dawn and Sebastian's copy of the SNL 25th anniversary show. Breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning and was a substantial combination of delicious items and freshly ground coffee, which set us off on the right foot for our day ahead. After our departure we got a call to our cell from Dawn to inform us that we had left some items behind. She offered to mail these to us, which we thought was exceedingly kind. A wonderful B+B experience and a place we look forward to visiting again soon.

Room Tip: Dawn showed us all of the room before we departed and any of them would be wonderful, depending on t...
