This was my second visit to Afan Lodge, this time returning with a large group.

The lodge is in a fantastic setting and when mountain biking or walking at Afan, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The terrace is a top chill out spot at the end of the day, with a cold beer. Great bike storage and a hose for cleaning. Ample parking even for a large group.

Richard and Louise (the owners) are locals and mountain bikers themselves so a great source of information. All the staff are really friendly and helpful.

I'll definitely be going back.

This was our third stay at Afan Lodge since it opened. Having stayed at other establishments in the area, you can't beat this one for location and service. Everything is done to accomodate your needs. Their is direct access onto the trail that links the two trail centres.

The bike store is very secure and there's even a hose to clean your bikes.

Richard and Louise are locals so are able to advise on any questions about the area.

The bedrooms are basic but you don't exactly need 4 star luxury when you're coming in from a day on the trail.

The food in the restaurant is more pub grub than restaurant food but perfect for their guests who've been out exerting themselves.

The bar has the perfect atmosphere to sit with a drink tell tales on the days activitites and compare war wounds!

We wouldn't stay anywhere else now.
