The park has something for everyone, although the best areas are for small kids, with a water play area, beach, activity area and boating lake. The park runs alongside the water edge from the Hythe, and there's a pleasant walk along the path to the statue at the mouth of the estuary, which takes about 15 minutes at a steady stroll. We parked in the town centre and walked in, (about 10 minutes), but the park has it's own car park very close.

Fabulous park with plenty for families & tourists like us! Lots of parking & interesting sailing barges on the waterfront.

The best thing about the park now is seeing the ducks and swans. Always lots of boats and tons of things to interest the kids.
Recommend this parks for a day out its fantastic, during the evening its great for a walk out to the statue and back.
I cannot recommend the park enough and throughout summer there are lots of special days at the weekends including carters steam fair, car shows etc.
It really is a stunning place to spend some time.

Ever since the closure of the salt water bathing pool i think the park had lost its charm the lake that is there now looks appalling with the fence alround it the lake itself is overgrown with weed and doesnt look atractive at all. A shame really it has lost its charm

Been here the other day good value for money :) nice place for kids to visit :) makes a good family day out looks like they are building more for the park. The only thing was disappointing was the car park unfortatly it's quite expensive to park.
