“Good gluten free pub food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 February 2014 via mobile

Visited for a family Sunday lunch. All lovely food - particularly good is that everything can be gluten free with no fuss made. Desserts were excellent, large portion too.
It's not 'fancy' and has kept it's pub image. Could do with a lick of paint but for the food will definitely go again. It's wholesome & good value.

“It's only fair...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 December 2013

...to review a restaurant when it's good, as well as when it's disappointing. Today's lunch was very nice. Home made meat and potato pie with mushy peas (special offer at 2 for £9.99), with chips an extra £2 a portion, but plenty for 2 to share. Nice puds at £3.95. All served with a smile.

Very enjoyable!

We Booked in for family meal around seventeen of us. We had to wait over an hour before some of us got our meal. Some of our party were served wrong vegetables some had vegetables missing others complained about dry meat. Will not be visiting anytime soon.

“Excellent grub!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

I have visited several times the food is delicious! Especially the Yorkshire pudding! Everything is homemade and fresh. The deserts are to die for especially the Bakewell tart and custard or ice cream/cream if you prefer!
