the hotel is 15 mins away from Male by speedboat, life jackets were given to passengers and I was impressed that they care about guests' safety. It would be a good idea that when we board the speedboat, they could tell us what the weather is like and how strong the current is so we know what to expct during the boat ride. In term of services, it was good but not the best I've experienced. Inclusive food and drinks were good, they came in a proper portion and well cooked. The all inclusive package was limited to main restaurant and main bar only, I would prefer the all inclusive package to be every restaurant in the hotel with selected food and drinks. Our butler Anup, he was very friendly, service minded, and very helpful. I wish him all the best.
In term of hotel rooms and facilities, some maintenance is required, light bulbs outside our Sun set room were broken, we called to have it fixed but they didn't fixed all though I thought they would come back later to fix the last one but they didn't. Overall I'm happy with the staff, food and hotel facilities.

We were here last year july for honeymoon, and came back again for 1st anniversary. we were delighted with the welcome flowers and all staffs were very friendly and approachable. The GM also came to say hi when we just arrived. Bilal and Rifshal both were very helpful throughout the whole trip. constantly checking if you are ok or not. the only sad part is that i left my travel pillow there and couldnt be found. :( other than that everything was great and i hope to visit every year!

The resort is simply amazing and thanks to it being a fairly small property you get good attention and service. They only have water bungalows since the island is very small and these are very well appointed and luxurious.
The food is top - class, here again because the resort is small, you get a proper sit-down 4 course meal instead of the usual crappy buffet meals you will get when you do an all-inclusive booking.
The in-house diving shop is also very good and we had two outstanding dives.
One must - have breakfast on your deck rather than going to to the restaurant.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, go for a sea-facing room.

First of all, The Maldives is way too expensive and less fun as a tourist destination. Comparing it to Seychelles, Bali or Pucket. Me and my wife went there for our anniversary, the first thing I didn’t like was the charge ($ 100+ per person) for the boat ride to the resort Island, this should’ve been part of the overall hotel price especially that the island is for the resort. The welcoming was a nice touch by the resort and assigning a personal butler for the whole trip is best thing I liked. The island is villas, 2 restaurants, a spa & 2 small shops. There is no sport activities and no water sports which I find really odd. We took the full package which includes 3 meals a day, But honestly speaking, the menu was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. There are two trips which may interest some, a fishing trip which we liked, and a trip to the capital city Male which is a waste of time. Snorkeling is a must around the villas with the resort providing the gear for free. The view under the water is the reason the Maldives is so famous.
Finally, the villa was relaxing and OK but I wished the A/c was more cooler and the view was just amazing . And the SPA although pricey but worth the trouble.

Room Tip: The view on the Sunset Villas are amazing

There are two of us and we stayed for 3 days. We waited for 1 hour for the shuttle ship at airport and 2 hours at main bar before we could check in and rest in bed. Not a good first impression but I was too tired to complaint about that after the exhausting flight.
The food is good, limited options but in good quality. The supervisor checked every dish before it is served to each table.
The new manager Indy is helpful and kind, he would like to listen to the guests' opinion and that made the stay more pleasant.
The bartender Gayan is nice. It's possible for you to ask for special drinks and he'd fulfill your wish.
The general room service is okay, because we didn't bother the staff too much.
But for emergency, yes, they do solve the problems too slow.
All the supervisors and executives want to do the best, but the for the employees, there are much for them to improve.
In total, a nice stay, wiz a holiday mood (which is try ignoring the unpleasant things and be happy)
