“Value for money really good”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

Transfer from airport to the resort fast and was in price of package. Room was big and meet our needs. No TV but did not want some anyway. The beach was very nice. Food in the restaurant just fine. Service very good. Spa personnel great. In short I recommend this island for a relaxing holiday for thoose who do not search for luxury.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are larger.

Arrival and transportation from the airport were very smooth and comfortable. The beach and location were terrific. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The food is very good and nice cake. Drinks somehow are expensive, one coca cola is 4$ ... Same for one bottle of water 1.5 L. There are no WiFi internet service. Also it is three stars hotel, you will feel that you are in a real natural island away from fancy 5 stars hotels. The beach is very clear and suitable for snorkeling and swimming. I spent about two weeks and it costs about 3700$ with full board meals

I just came back 3 days ago. Everything I read here is true : would not tag this place as a honeymoon island, but it's very clean, service is great, the food is very nice, the spa is great, the diving center is absolutely awesome, there is a beautiful house reef, and the whole thing is affordable compared to the prices I saw for other islands. It was my first time in the Maldives. The weather was really great, just a few clouds and no rain, at least not while I was awake. The visibility for diving is not the best but it's still fine, especially if you go on the outer reef (15-20 m). Overall an awesome week. Go, all of you, before they renovate, because then it might not be so affordable!

For an island that is half the price of many others you get far more than you pay for.
The beach still looks better than the pictures, the reef and drop off have more fish than the sealife centre, the shallow water on the west side had turtles, rays and sharks in so even those not wanting to swim over the reef can still see some of the amazing creatures. Biyadhoo also has amazing staff from the bar staff to the Kuoni rep Vicki who provide a 5* service on a 3* resort. The number of repeater guests on top of such great staff keep the atmosphere friendly and mean even a single traveller like me is never lonely. The evening entertainment is great, the highlight for me being the bonfire on the beach! Definitely the best value for money in the Maldives

Biyadhoo is excellent value - arrange for all-inclusive from the UK as it's cheaper than taking it on the island.
The rooms are spacious, and always kept spotless. They really do need a refurbishment though, and a little paint would go a long way. I'm sure the island could add a little to the cost and still attract the number of returners that they have.
The staff are always friendly and attentive - and genuinely pleased to help. The food is pretty good, and the waiters soon know your needs. The bar is first class, and we found the evening entertainment some of the best we have seen in the Maldives.
The main problem for a lot of people is the mosquitos - and until they clear out the scrubland in the centre of the island, this will remain a problem.
But as value for money, I don't think there is better around.

Got back from Biyadhoo on Tuesday 27 August....Second time on the Island and this was our Honeymoon, we stopped off after 5 weeks in Thailand.
Kuoni rep Vicki was at the Island to greet us with a huge smile and sort our rooms etc.
We had two bottles of wine and two baskets of fruit in the room. Returning guests and Honeymooners.
Lot of the staff recognized even tho we last visited in 2010.
Staff all round were fab from the waiter Mo to the bar staff Rafiq.
Tired rooms yes but spoke to Aslam the now manager and he informed me they are not closing the island just going to upgrade rooms block by block starting in a couple of months.
The soup in the restaurant is to die for.

Room Tip: middle block west side

What an experience! I have never seen such beautiful surroundings.
The staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough to make the stay a memorable one. our waiter Mohammed knew our every need and had the appropriate wine on our tables as soon as he saw us enter the restaurant.
The reefs were fantastic and only a short swim out. Reef sharks ( no threat), Tuna & Rays swam past close to the shore every day. An assortment of the most beautifully coloured fish in and around us whilst we swam. The sea was so warm and the turquoise I had only seen on post cards before.
Would love to visit again.

Room Tip: Our room was very close to the beach, but as the island is so small all rooms are only a short walk...
