A small idyllic island with rooms overlooking the ocean exactly as in our dreams.
This Constance group hotel is a citadel of tranquility, beauty and high level service. The “all inclusive” package is just amazing, the quality of food is beyond surprising offering a high diversity every day, especially taking into consideration a complex supply system. The wine card is simply incredible for an “all inclusive” and if you wish to unwind and enjoy a “grand cru”, prices are truly affordable. Our family of 5 was charmed by this hotel and highly impressed by skills of employees tirelessly working on offering you an unforgettable experience.
Not to mention the seabed that is unique and must be preserved by all means.

This hotel is what you'd expect from Maldives. "Bounty" photos, various underwater reef life, huge assortment of delicious meals and wines in Manta restaurant, different cuisine every night, famous international coctails and alcohol brands in Manta bar, luxurious water villas, the brightest stars and moon at night, nice music played by DJ Sanjeewa, who can find and play any song you'd like to hear (even Russian :)). The most sencere smiles of all staff (waitors, housemen, barmen, chefs, guards, receptionists, sommeliers, guys at diving center - everybody). Special thanks for making us fell like at home to Nishanta, Sanjeewa and chef sauсe, unfortunately, don't know his name :(
It's very convenient that the resort works on all-inclusive basis. There are just a couple of menu pages with some XO cognacs and wines in Manta restaurant and bar, which are not included and you can easily distinguish them by the presence of prices.
As complimentary services Constanse Moofushi offers one free diner at a-la Carte restaurant, which is also worth visiting, because it has very good steaks and gazpacho, one free excursion to your choice, free entry snorkelling and diving lessons.
Those who'd like some activities, can go kayaking or by catamaran across the island, which is also for free.
There's also a good gym, a small swimming pool, spa, a game zone with pool, monopoly, books, etc.
If I have a possibility, I'll definitely visit Moofushi once again, because it's the most perfect and relaxing resorts I've ever been to.

Room Tip: All sunrise water villas (100 - 138) really stand in the water, while the first half of sunset water...

I have just returned from a week in Constance Moofushi and we were extremely impressed.
We landed from a long journey to be whisked to the lounge at the seaplane terminal which gave us a first taste of the atmosphere that we would experience on the island.

The seaplane experience was great and we took stunning photos of atolls along the way. It was only once we landed that we realized that the place really does look as good as the photos!
We adored the 'no shoe' policy and ditched our flip flops for a week to enjoy feeling the soft white sand between our toes… what a sense of freedom!

We settled happily into our very comfortable accommodation (we were in Senior water villa 59) and really enjoyed the room service twice a day. Being able to step into the water from our villa was a real experience and we even found a crab on the stairs one day!
The mini bar was well stocked and we asked for extra wine. We took english breakfast teabags with us and they immediately realized we needed lots of milk doses and these were kept replenished every day.

The only facility we didn't use was the outside bath and to be honest the shower was much more tempting…
We had a little bit of a walk to the centre of the island from our villa, when we forgot something it was a pain to go back and get it! although once they offered to run my fiancé back there in a buggy which was sweet.
The food was extremely good. Every day it changed and i am a huge fan of salads and fresh food - no problem at all. I would say the only thing is you eat too much as the buffet is so great!
The staff surprised us at the buffet restaurant on our last night and set us up a table right on the beach with massive candles, flowers and napkins folded into little bird shapes! It was super romantic…
We did a dive course with Bluetribe and Adele and Sylvia were fantastic. My fiancé is type 1 diabetic and they were so patient and helpful with him striving to manage this. We sat our PADI open water certificate and loved every minute of the diving. The girls were absolutely great and I (slightly embarrassingly) cried when we went to hug them goodbye!!

Our only gripe was that they serve red wine cold in cold glasses so one needs to specify this to avoid it.

All the staff made our stay so beautiful and the resort is luxurious without being pretentious, which is perfect, no airs and graces, just excellent service and stunning views.
We couldn't recommend it highly enough. If you are thinking of booking this place for a romantic holiday, look no further!!

Room Tip: If you dont like walking too far dont choose the senior water villas they are 5-10 minutes walk from...

I stayed at the Constance Moofushi for a week in September for my honeymoon. What an amazing resort! We splurged a bit.. well a lot on this honeymoon so i had really high expectations and was reallly worried - actually lost sleep over it - that it wouldn't meet them. When we landed at the resort, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it meet my expectations, it beat them! We stayed in beach villa 5 which was pretty close to everything. The island itself is absolutely beautiful, with amazing sand and crystal clear water.

Beach villa 5: The room was large with a large bathroom. The outdoor shower was a fun a experience. Make sure you always keep your bathroom door closed and all the other doors closed because lizards come inside, and really big cockroach looking bugs come in as well. I wanted to stay in an overwater villa but they were all booked. I am glad I didn't since they seem to be a far walk from the restaurants and you can't wake up and go outside on your own section of the beach. The villa's backyard consisted of a sandy area with sun loungers and a hammock. There were privacy trees around so no one could peek unless they were exactly in front of the opening. I found almost no one on the actual beach part in front of our villa yard so it didn't matter. It was very private!

Gym: fitness room had everything I needed to get a good work out. We were usually the only ones there. It had fresh towels, cold water, and air conditioning.

Food: amazing food at both restaurants! The only negative was that usually we would have a really late breakfast and be swimming and miss lunch so we would be starving around 4-5pm. There is no food offered anywhere at that time until 7:30pm. Make sure you eat lunch! The buffet was great! Each night they had a different theme. Indian night was my favourite! On our last day, the chef made us my favourite indian breakfast dish specially for us! I had casually mentioned it to him during one of the dinner buffet nights and he went out of his way to get the ingredients and make it just for us!

Drinks: i was disappointed that they didn't have the classic bellini's and other frozen mixed drinks that I am so used to in Canada but they had a great selection of alcohol for cocktails. Grey goose was included in the all inclusive. They had the most amazing smoothies and non alcoholic drinks! They have beer and wine in your room that is restocked daily along with chocolates and chips!

Activities: when you get your activity vouchers when you check in, go right away to the diving center and book your excursions and find out what different excursions are offered. We made the mistake of waiting too long and missed out on some really cool excursions. We ended up going on a Dolphin excursion that made us feel sick and we didn't end up seeing any dolphins.
We booked a movie under the stars experience and it was unreal! However, there were some hiccups. Every 15 minutes, the projector would turn off so we would have to wait for a staff member to notice no bright light coming from the beach and trek all the way out there to turn it back on for us. We ended up not finishing the movie and having to do the experience the next day. Wasn't so bad since we had popcorn and a bucket of alcohol next to us. The staff was very apologetic. The next day it worked perfectly and they gave us a nice bottle of champagne with it as well. I highly recommend this experience! The best part of the experience was during the technical difficulties. When the screen would shut off, I would lay back on my giant bean bag chair and look up at the stars while listing to the waves in front of us. It was so serene!

Staff: absolutely amazing. i never received service like this before! As mentioned above, the chef made us my favourite indian breakfast dish just for us. They were very accommodating when the movie under the stars experience did not work out the first night. The bartenders were great coming up with different drinks for me. The dj was awesome for playing upbeat dance music at night.

Also, bring US cash with you to tip.

Room Tip: beach villa 5 was central to everything! Perfect location and had a nice little garden beside it!

My wife and i after months decided to go to the Maldives for our honeymoon, and after stressful reading of reviews and more reviews she found the Constance Moofushi, his selection was just perfect, the hotel was like our house for two weeks, you could feel the hotel staff as a family, we had the chance to go diving and the experience was unique, we had a chance to see the famous Manta.
Also the island is a perfect place for snorkeling, we used to chase a huge turtle in a daily basis.
The food was very good and fresh and for an all inclusive experience the wine was very good, keep in mind that they also have the good stuff a la carte if you cannot live without a grand cru.

Best vacation as a couple!!!

Room Tip: Definetely the water villa, just keep in mind the walking distance to the restaurant :)

We stayed 3 nights, 4 days in villa 41 in an over the water bungalow

All experience from arriving on male airport untill leaving the airport was trully sublime, words can not contain the moofushi experience and pictures are just useless to trully describe it; You have to see it, to experience it to believe it;

we were greeted and taken from male airport to a VIP lounge waiting area where we waited 35 min for our seaplane to moofushi resort; All this time refreshments, cold towels, bakery , snacks were available plus wifi as well ; flight was cancelled due to bad weather but back on track in 25 min

after a 25 min great experience with the seaplane having all along views that lives you breathless, we were nicely greeted by few members off staff when arriving at moofushi; checkin, check out experience just quick and flawless

we had 1 sunny day, a half rainy day and rest of time dry but cloudy! all along were 28,30 degrees warm and nice , water even more warmer even though was rainy; the philipines taifun and the cyclones in sri lanka affected a bit the maldivian weather as in middle of nov should have been the dry season;

we were not affected too much as there are many activities you can take advantage of: playing pool, chess, my favourite: snorkling :) , spa terapies etc

the island, the colours of the ocean, the white sandy soft beach, the palmtrees, the colourfull fishes and coral reefs all around they were all breathtaking and just stunning;

i was having maybe 10 or more snorkling session and is now my favourite sport! in the all inclusive package renting of the snorkling equipment for all your stay is included

we had as well at our choice included in the package, a boat excursion around the island , seeing dolphins and fishing, just magnificent, another view of the island

i had as well a 45min aloe vera massage wrap due to my sunburn which helped a bit cooling and refreshing the body down!sun is very strong i recommend suncream with above 30 spf; you get 50 percent off in the honeymoon package

we had as well a 30min first diving experience in the pool included in our package which we trully enjoyed even though my wife was scared of swimming in the water but the instructor was really good

we enjoyed as well a breathtaking dinner on the sandy beach in a nice, quiet evening , extremely romantic and with very few lights around; that was one to remember, unique left us just speechless;

villa 41 , the location was opposite the main beach and near one of the best snorkling spots so excellent located, 5 min walk from the restaurant or 2 min from first bar; room was out of this world: all natural, bamboo wood feeling, everything in that room sends you back in virgin times when everything was woody made and natural all along; mini bar in the room all refreshments at your discresion: pack of pringles, paprika chips, wines, haribo etc; our villa had shower outside facing the lagoon which was a great thing to have! views excellent ; imac mini movies on tv ; wifi free in villa, restaurant, bar areas

food and drinks all included in the package buffet style all you cant eat and drink, an amazing selection of hundreds of wines, whiskys,cognac,beers everything you will ever need; we tried wines, cognac, beer, whisky and most of non alcoholic trully great , freshly made cocktails and alcoholic as well; i loved all cocktails they were just great;

foods in manta restaurant were buffet style every day having a different theme: mexican, italian etc; we enjoyed all of the foods but most were the dinner with the special rib stakes which were soft, juicy just out of this world; all fish from the reef, beefs were trully amazing; the selection of fruits, fruit juices, cold platters is huge!another special dinner and included in the package was 1 dinner in alizee restaurant, ours was on the beach in an idilic setting and extremely romantic; food was divine

the island itself, the colours of the ocean on a sunny day from light blue, light green to dark colours were astonishing! we fell in love with the islands beauty; the coral reefs, vivid colours of the fishes which were easy to see and reach , from baby sharks to catfish to crabs they were all over the place ;

we think we got a moofushi addiction and we can not stop thinking about it over and over again, is like a drug , you have to experience it to believe it.

staff was nice, over friendly and helpfull all the time! ask for it and your wish will come true at moofushi!
they took care of the luggages on the return trips, pulling your seat at the tables, making sure you have an amazing experience; always had the feeling they are over staffed :) just too many staff available at all times:) senior chefs were replenishing foods in restaurant and making sure they are fresh for every new guest arrival just perfect service.

all in all we will certainly come back, as we had an out of this world experience in a sanctuary of peace and tranquility , natural beauty and sublime experience; a divine, idilic, heavenly, breathtaking place
