Stayed a week ( 26 July to 2 Aug ) with two teenage sons. Everywhere was spotless and staff were friendly. Huge thanks to James at security department, who helped so much after he heard we had lost our keys. Will come back next summer.

Stayed here mid July amazing transformation from previous visits. Caravan to die for. But when teething troubles happened at the start of the week bulbs blowing doors dropping and leaving gaps to the elements. Nothing was done by maintenance. Good to relax if you like nothing to do. Otherwise pay for everything else. Dont expect a disco or kids club there is none. Food was great but prices were high if you have a family. Go to the Lanherne in town or the Whiteacres takeaway. In all a good time but a caravan park trying to be a 5 star hotel.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a review! We appreciate all sorts of feed back to help us grow and improve as a new development! We do apologise for any snagging issues you came across during your stay, our maintnenace team have been working very hard to have everything perfect! We do not offer kids clubs or a full entertainment program, but we do have a full, exciting GoActive program, outdoor splash area, outdoor playground, multicourt for basketball and tennis and the indoor heated swimming pool for all guests to enjoy! Going forward we are looking into having some entertainment as well. Again, thank you for your feedback and we do hope to see you back with us!

Stayed at piran meadow for a week at the end of July with my husband and 2 children ( 13 and 10). We've all agreed its the best caravan site we have ever stayed at. We arrived at 12.30 on the Saturday not expecting our caravan to be ready as check in time isn't till 4.00pm. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we could have the key which was brilliant seeing as we had all been up since 5.00 am !! We stayed in an Austell 3 which was absolutely amazing, kitchen was well equipped and the white fluffy towels were an added bonus. No hairdryer which was a bummer as I had purposely not bought mine. Went to reception who quite happily lent me one. The caravan park is very peaceful surrounded by beautiful countryside, I found it to be very relaxing. The whole site is very quiet even though there was alot of children running about, they all magically disappeared at 10.00 pm. We ate one night in the restaurant, food was lovely but maybe a little pricey. Shop is very small, went to buy bread one morning at 10.30 am to make sandwiches to take out with us but it had all gone. A larger, more stocked shop would be a big bonus. Swimming pool is stunning and especially liked the shampoo ect in the shower area, although showers were very hot !!! On the whole loved this site and we have booked already for next year as I think its going to be very popular :).There is plenty to keep kids entertained , and I for one was glad that there was not an arcade in sight or no cheesy kids entertainers dressed up in animal costumes !

Stayed in wadebridge premier 3 caravan and very disappointed as advertised as a spacious luxury caravan with washer/dryer and shower en-suite to master bedroom and hot tub. Arrived early but a problem with the dishwasher meant we had to wait until 5pm until they decided to move us to another caravan to discover only had the hottub! Complained straight away as with 4 adults and 2 children on a 2 week holiday we would not have booked this accommodation and the 2twin rooms were tiny. They told us hoseasons had the wrong information and the 3 bed did not have these facilities and there was nothing they could do!! -after complaining to Hoseasons whilst on holiday I'm disgusted they're still advertising it incorrectly.. So it appears you pay an awful lot more money just for a hottub - misselling to me!! nowhere to hang your towels -hooks behind the bathroom and bedroom doors would help.

Shop is only a small space next to reception and open on limited hours with very minimum items (which sell out on changeover days) so had to go over the road to buy what we needed -not ideal. Swimming pool is adequate with lifeguards but open only between 10:00 and 12:45 and 14:00 and 17:45, would have liked some evening swims after being out all day and to use the sauna etc. also would have like to have had a massage but only open during the day - not helpful when you have children to entertain. Go active offers limited sports with some pricing a little expensive for the children although canoes and snorkelling/scooters were good fun. Again the times could be a little more flexible. Couldn't use the gym as they wanted £5 for an induction which could only be done at 10:30 -very cheeky-and I didn't have a spare morning to waste for a 5 minute instruction. Cash machine was out of order for 2 weeks. Bar was fine (although ran out of rose) but they didn't know where the table numbers were so they kept trying to deliver us drinks we hadn't ordered.

Reception staff need customer service training as had to ask 3times to have the towels and bed linen changed after the first week (would have been nice if they had offered first) and I felt uncomfortable having to repeatedly complain about issues and when we left they didn't ask for any feedback nor wish us a safe journey -small touches that make a difference in my book -also we weren't advised there was a £5 charge if we lost the cards to gain access to the site/swimming pool so had to find where Ihad put them.

High speed wifi was a joke - download speed of 0.56, extremely slow and many websites have been blocked - coudn't get onto bbc even. It wasn't worth having and very surprised seeing as this is a brand new site. You're given a code for the wifi which lasts 7days and it tells you to look by the kitchen window for further info but there was nothing there.

Site was nice though and convenient for beaches and attractions but I would only return if a lodge was available for the right price as caravans too small for us and they don't have the facilities we require. Disappointed as the reviews before we went were so good but I think that's because everything was new.

Room Tip: Lodges look lovely and are spacious.

We have recently stayed in a Austells caravan for 5 nights and had a great time. The caravan was excellent, very clean with everything you need, so many little extras that made the difference. The park itself was very well presented, swimming pool and outdoor area was lovely. The only improvement I can think of is it would be useful to have the reception/ shop open a bit later.
Overall a great holiday!!

I cannot believe the transformation of the park. It is an amazing place to stay. Peaceful, relaxing, facilities are second to none. I would recommend both families and couples to stay in what I can only describe as a little bit of paradise!

We stayed in a lodge with a private hot tub which was amazing. There were a few hiccups with the accommodation because the park had only been open for 2 days and we were the people staying in that lodge. These problems were sorted quickly and efficiently by the wonderful staff and they even gave us a free meal in the restaurant. Very quiet and relaxed and central for all attractions.
