This is a lovely, quiet chalet in a peaceful location, perfect for two people to unwind. The chalet is very comfortable and well maintained, with everything you need, right down to a wireless connection. The owner's daughter, who owns the property the chalet is on, was lovely.
There is river swimming nearby and good walking. Chisa, the local village is 5 minutes walk and is small and very quiet with a simple but very good Gite d'etap restaurant -phone ahead to let them know you're coming and look forward to some decent Corsican fare.
Be aware, however, that Chisa, is at the end of a 15km side road into the hills and there is only the one road in and out. Allow around 20 - 25 minutes each way for a journey to the shops or the beach and don't forget to factor in the extra time when taking a trip.I enjoy driving in Corsica, so was very happy with this - but some may find it a strain. And look out for the wild cattle and boars when driving in the dark!
The pleasant town of San Solenzara is five minutes down the N98 from its junction with the Chisa road, and there are plenty of good restaurants and a nice marina to enjoy a glass of Cap Corse as the sun goes down.
All in all, highly recommended!
