Induruwa is a little beyond Bentota. Nice stay, hotel staff ready to help and friendly. It is a nice clean resort with comfortably furnished double rooms. Almost all the rooms face the beach. No shops around the hotel, recommended for people having car with with them. blue swimming bool and the sea and the beach beyond, which is barely a hundred meter away. It was little while since I visited the place but was a nice and quiet stay!

It is quite sad to see the stunning view of the pool and beach that greet you upon arrival, being marred by the atrociousness of the people in this place. Through the course of my trip, I never came across people as inhospitable as the ones found here (they were a rare breed!).

We had a great deal of expectations from Induruwa mainly because we'd planned our new years here and boy, did they disappoint (and how)! A special shout-out goes to Mr. Yohan who treated us to his special "violently-charge-at-your-guests" routine, all at the request of wifi which was absent for the duration of our 2-day stay.

Still, not to take away too much, the rooms are good, pool and beach are stunning, beach boys not so much (keep your distance from the guys) and there's an ample spread on the breakfast menu; but everything remotely good stops there. Everything bad would take up too much time and effort, wasted on this place. Despite what is featured on their website, Induruwa are largely unworthy of their star label. Anyone going here need to up their tolerance levels before checking-in. Good luck!

The approach to Induruwa Beach Resort is through an unimpressive small road. It has no open grounds in the front. But, once a person steps into the lobby, he is struck by the sight of the blue swimming bool and the sea and the beach beyond, which is barely a hundred meter away. It is a nice clean resort with comfortably furnished double rooms. Almost all the rooms face the beach, and there need be no particular preference for the rooms. The beach is clean, though it is not a private beach. Fishermen are seen going out into the sea early in the morning. Their catches are a sight to see, the way they they haul their load of fishes is something which tourists gather to see. The restaurant in the Resort provides good breakfast, both veg and non-veg. But, lunch and dinner are not equally good. For Indians accustomed to rice or Rotis, they seem half-cooked. I had no occasion to use the room service and comment on it. The staff was somewhat slow in resolving the problem of a senior citizen who had locked herself out of her room. Barring this, there is no other grievance. Checkin and checkout were quick and smooth. From here Galle is barely fifty kilometers away.
