Enjoyed a wonderful 5 day break in half term. The site is beautifully maintained, toilets, showers, washing up facilities etc all kept spotless. It is a quiet site with limited evening entertainment but it has a nice bar/restaurant with good food and a friendly atmosphere. The pool was lovely and very quiet unlike some sites where you have to queue to get in. Ignore any negative comments about staff, it's simply not true. They are all very friendly, hardworking and very helpful and there to ensure everyone has a good time. I applaud them challenging people who try and spoil other people's holidays through offensive behaviour. We had a really relaxing holiday and will definitely return.

Reluctant to give a good review as ideally I would keep this site all to ourselves! Have just come back from our second visit and we absolutely loved it. All the staff are so friendly and approachable. The toilets are modern and are kept completely and utterly spotless. The staff are constantly cleaning and tidying up but will still have a laugh and a joke with you. So friendly. Small swimming pool that the children loved and the play area seemed to be constantly in use. The dog walking field was a revelation. We have two labradors that fell in love with the field. You walk the perimeter with the dogs and the middle has a foot ball pitch for the children. There is a handy seat halfway round the walk where you can just chill. There are lots of dog bins round the site and the field and are constantly emptied. The pitches are all level and it is easy to move round the site. Will definitely be back. Surprised to see a negative review on here and whilst I can appreciate that it must be really annoying to be told to keep the noise down I would be one of the campers who would find the noise disturbing. One of the lovely things about this site is how relaxed and quiet it is. Full marks to the staff and management.

I cant reccomend Shamba enough, this is our 3rd visit to this site this year so far. Facilities are excellent, modern, and very very clean. Brilliant play park games room, bar / restaraunt and heated pool. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. A special thankyou to the manager, Aaron, who is always helpful and entertaining, he and his team make for a very warm and welcoming visit, we will most definatly be back.

We returned from a long weekend with family, I have put 3 stars due to the facilities and cleanliness which were good. This is where anything that's good ends. The Manager was more concerned with which hand bags the women had than keeping his customers happy, he held a karaoke night which was more about his singing talents than letting others sing and when other holiday makers did join in they were ridiculed which we found very disappointing. We had to endure 7 yes 7 of his songs and I think only 2 other people had a sing, (Very Brave of them). This guy is not cut out to be in the position he currently holds and will ruin what I feel could be a really nice site. After the Pub had closed we returned to our awning for a night cap at 10:45pm we were swiftly told that we could not continue as our laughter was too loud. We will not be returning until things change, hopefully these changes will happen before permanent damage is done to their reputation. P.S this is the first review I have ever left, this shows our disappointment.

Arrived friday evening booked in and was shown to our pitch. we were pleased to find that the site was flat as we had a tent to pitch. found the staff very friendly and welcoming also there was a lot of them patrolling the site. the toilet blocks are very clean and had hot water at all times. the pool was adequate and clean. the evening entertainment was good and finished at 10.30 and the staff made sure everyone was in there caravan and tent by 11pm. we enjoyed our time here and would certainly return.
