My wife and I were just there recent and we had a great time.
They have a few of options to get to the island, but we chose our trip with a domestic flight from Manila then on to Busuanga, we proceeded with a land transfer, which more the less took 45 minutes, but we must say due the scenic drive, we were distracted by the view and didn’t realize the time, then on to the resort via boat transfer.

As you step into the island, you automatically feel the rhythm of the resort. It has awesome staff, spacious rooms and a fantastic range of food & beverage outlet. When you stay at a one island, one resort concept, the last thing you would want is to be cornered to eating at the same place or have no variety, even if you do just stay for 4n.

Our objective for this stay, was just to completely vege; other than soaking up some rays, we tried the spa, which we must say was great to see a menu that offered something different, than the usual aromatherapy and yes the glass-floored in the therapy rooms was very cool..
We didn't get the chance to go on any excursions at this time, but its something we look forward to experiencing on our next visit.. its nice that a resort like this is now available in the Philippines.. good relaxation, food, service and privacy..

Having recently returned from Huma Island I find my self day dreaming wishing I was back there. From the moment we approached the island by sea plane there was a real WOW factor, so beautiful.

We stayed in a beach villa, just a few steps from the ocean, a lovely room with all the facilities you could ever want. Food was amazing, dining in Al Fairuz the Lebanese restaurant is a must, the food was exceptional, but so were the views - perched on the hill side, you arrive at this restaurant by walking up a gentle slope surrounded but islands herb gardens.

A day by the pool is heavenly - with waiters arriving with little treats of fruits and sorbets. Again the views from the pool are breathtaking, However it was our time spent on the reef around the island that will stay with me forever - it is incredible, abundant fish, starfish and marine life. It is so easy to snorkel there and enjoy this unspoiled piece of the Philippines. We did a wreck dive, and WOW! again amazing, saw a crocodile fish, new for us.

Following a weeks stay we could have easily stayed much longer, many dining options and so much to do on the island , water sports, spa and you just relax from the moment you arrive. We also went exploring and visited Black Island and would have loved more time to do some more of the excursions - easy to fit into a week, but Huma is so fabulous you struggle to leave and go anywhere else. The virgin islands, like Black Island don't disappoint though.

We will definitely go back, for at least 10 days next time.

Room Tip: Choice of rooms are beach or over water, all were quiet, with stunning views, so really is up to your personal preference. We loved being right on the beach.

The setting is spontaneously romantic! My hubby and I stayed in a water villa which is very perfect for couples where you could enjoy the superb view of the sea while having a dip in your jacuzzi, yes, you read it right! The villa has its own private jacuzzi. Everyone would love the perfect view of the sea and neighboring islands from the Lebanese restaurant, my hubby and I spent every afternoon in the Italian restaurant where we watched the sun as it goes down... Above all, I didn't mind getting dark as I really enjoyed snorkeling!!! Don't miss doing island hopping especially going to Black Island and North Cay Island both islands are pristine and unpolluted :)

Room Tip: Beach Villa is recommended if you have kids with you. You may not enjoy the villas on the stilts but you have direct access to the beach!

Spent 4days/3nights here with my family. Beach villa is very advisable if you have 'lil ones! The beach is few steps away.. I love the jacuzzi located at the back of our villa, i love the spa (they just need a 'lil improvement..) additional decors perhaps. :) the italian resto served one of the best pizza, but the lebanese restaurant have the best view especially at night! Staffs are amazing, i forgot the name of this girl but she helped us to carry our baby while my husband and I are having dinner. Trully appreciate the help! See you again soon!
