Stayed here at the end of February this year, was absolutely delightful. Kilbride cottage was everything you could want from a holiday home on Arran. The kitchen has all you need for cooking, whether it be something small or a full blown meal - scales, chopping boards, all cutlery you could ever want!
Surrounding by fields with sheep on one side and the farmhouse and quiet road on the other, the garden is perfect for if you have children or pets, as it is enclosed, with a patio area and grass in too. Well-tended flowers and a welcome tray are a nice touch, as was the starter kit for the log fire! We made sure it was roaring on my most nights - lovely and warm, plus there are heaters in every room. The bathroom is clean, modern and I had a bath which was just what was needed after a day climbing Goatfell.
Blackwaterfoot is not far, with pony trekking, the hotel, and a must go to is the tea rooms at Machrie, cakes and coffees are delicious.
Christine is extremely warm and welcoming, and makes sure that you could want for nothing!More
