Overal this was a really nice hotel, the spa is amazing, very relaxing with an added bonus of a snow cave to cool off. I had read the trip advisor reviews prior to booking and had noted the comments on the poor condition of the head boards to the beds, low and behold our bed did have a damaged headboard where the final is peeling off, it really does let the room down and is not what you expect in an executive room. Another issue that let the room down where the chairs, normally you get nice bucket chairs or two arm chairs this room had two dining chairs, not suitable for sitting and chilling on when you have spent a few hours in the spa.
On a positive note the views are good across the canal, great location, good quality buffet breakfast. I did inform the reception staff of my disappointment in the headboards and dining chairs and i was told that the rooms are currently being refurbished.More
