They have big, clean rooms, well english is spoken and good prices. The boss is helpful forany kind of trips in that area.
Excellent choise to stay overnight for a Visarun to Cambodia or a stop on the way to Angkor Wat.

There are not many options for Aranyaprathet, but this place is decent. We "splurged" and paid 500 baht for a superior double room with AC, which was a fair bit nicer (better bed and decor) than the cheaper room we were originally planning to stay in. The room was spacious and fairly clean. We didn't have to pay for the wifi and were also able to access it from our room. Take note, you have to pay a deposit for the room key, so make sure you bring enough baht with you...

We stayed at Market Motel for one night, in a basic fan room for the price of only 280 THB, including Thai breakfast and coffee. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff was nice and spoke good english. The restaurant has a large menu with good food. We haven't used the swimming pool, but it looked okay. Overall a very good and cheap place to stay. The only thing I didn't like was a plastic matrass cover on the bed.

There are only about 4 places listed in Tripadvisor for Aranyaprathet - and this seemed cheap, so we took it. It's OK. Like an "American" motel - parking bay outside room. All the fixtures and fittings are ageing, but work. Not clean, but not dirty either - just old and tired.
You get what you pay for - we had a double room with fan for BHT380 - not as good as you'd get elsewhere in Thailand (excl. Bangkok and coastal areas), but OK for one night in border town.
Breakfast of rice soup was quite nice. Nothing to do in town at all. Ate dinner at hotel, which was pretty good. 70BHT for tuk-tuk to border.
PS Border crossing was fine - but beware the bus/taxi cartel on Cambodian side. Walk away from border crossing, and shop around, if you can, for a bus to Siem Reap.

This was my 2nd stay here in 3yrs.An overnight stay here is good enough ,especially at such bargain prices for food and accommodation. This Hotel, even has a swimming pool.My only gripe is similar to other reviews. A smooth English speaking Bus ticket seller to either Bangkok or Cambodia. He tried to sell me a ticket to Phnom Penh. The Price he quoted ;"was obviously too cheap"!.He also blatantly lied to me:saying that",the bus would take 6hrs to get to Phnom PENH. "I said you would'nt get to Phnom Penh,in 6 hrs;",driving in a Ferrari"!!.He also boasted that", the said bus would"go all the way to PP;without
chchanging Buses ,at the Border"!.according to my only other previous same trip."Thai Buses cannot go into Cambodia".I opted to go to the Border ;in a Tuk Tuk.Then a Bus from Poipet to Phnom Penh.Don't' do business with this rogue.Even if?only going to Bangkok. I'm surprised this Hotel let's him spruike his said Business to us;dining customer's!.

I arrived by train in the dark & in a downpour and was a bit desperate, having already walked out of one dump - (the Aranya Garden 2). On checking into my room there was a power cut, so I was unable to verify the state of cleanliness of the room. When the lights came back on an hour later, I discovered the place was filthy, dirt in & on the bathroom sink, dirty floor, water leaking from the ceiling and unclean sheets. Staff offered me another room which was no better and less secure for single female traveler, (ground floor, across the road, garage style). Disgruntled to find a big gang of Thai gamblers in pink t shirts arrived around 10 p.m. & guessed they had not been given dirty rooms like mine. Too late & too tired to make a fuss, & as I said desperate. Food OK though-good Tom Yum Goong & cheap enough at around 300B. Next time I'll sleep in Cambodia!

Room Tip: Fitness centre? Room service? Are you kidding? The only fitness I got was running outta there the ne...
