Stefano Lubiana’s wines are great, that’s a given, but the hand made pasta we had for lunch in their Osteria was a revelation. Perfect texture, served with green vegetables and exactly the right amount of chilli, it was delicious, as was the leafy salad direct from the garden. Yum!

A limited luncheon menu but delicious dishes all the same, the perfect 'long lazy Sunday Lunch'. Very popular so bookings are essential. Amazing views, friendly staff.

After trying several times to get a reservation a group of friends had lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was only 2/3rds full and we had to get up and ask for a menu after being ignored for 10 minutes. The menu was nice but very limited. I had the pasta dish which was pappadelle and big strands were stuck together and inedible. Priced at $36 it should have been better. The “dessert” menu was basically cheeses. We arrived at 12.30 and lunch arrived at 1.45. A couple of guests had starters but these were bread, olives and salad. The kitchen staff didn’t move very quickly. I would not bother going again.

I can't speak too highly of our experience here today!
We were greeted very warmly and given exactly the kind of table we had requested. Stefano's wife conducted our wine tasting and was charming and interesting.
The wine we selected was delicious.
We ordered the chef's selection menu and it was impressive.... Several entree type dishes and an amazingly stand-out main course. The meat was the most tender and delicious I have tasted in many years - haven't had better since delicious wild boar in Argentina 4 years ago. So that is quite a recommendation! A delicious desert followed.
The wait staff were particularly good - displaying a loyalty and passion for the osteria which went well beyond the ordinary. And finally, the chef, who moved here from the also excellent Frogmore Creek Lounge (which he set up), came to talk with us and answer questions we had about some of the food.
All in all, it was a relaxing and very enjoyable lunch, and we will be back for more soon.

Had a lovely meal here on a Saturday for lunch. The beef was absolutely melt in the mouth. The service in the restaurant was friendly and just right. Unfortunately the young man at the wine tasting was less friendly really he couldn’t give a toss. Luckily we went to him after our meal because if it was the other way around we would have left.
