This restaurant is worth a visit for the sunsets - for those, arrive by 5.45 at the latest. It's right on the seafront, and the sun goes down over the hills on the other side of the bay. Spectacular.
The service, however, is very patchy. We were warmly welcomed, and given a good table. Our order was also taken promptly. The drinks - smoothies - came quickly and were very nice.
On our first visit, the starters came reasonably quickly. The coconut and pumpkin soup was excellent, but the humous not so good. One to avoid.
Then the trouble started. We waited and waited and waited, while tables all around us got served. I cleared away the starter plates myself, as we got sick of looking at them.
Turned out our food had gone to another table which had, a long time after us, ordered exactly the same!! Eventually we got our veggie Coconut and Basil curries, which were very tasty though undercooked.
Despite this we visited again, for the sunset views. A better experience - though the service again was so slow we ended up playing I Spy. My friend had a properly cooked curry (watch out for the green chilis) and I had the Palawan chicken, which I enjoyed.
Overall yes , I would recommend the restaurant, if you have the time to spare.
