My husband and i tried this as ive seen my fb friends gone here.. At first the chubby guy was so accomodating but after a while, the service became slow.. The food are just average.. Nothing to get excited about.. A lot of mosquitoes at the cabanas, though they have ac room but im happy we did not go there coz the electricity went off around 730pm, and we noticed that the generator only lit up the cabanas outside while the ac rooms only have candles.. The lamp on top of their dining table is so dirty.. With webs and insects that can drop into your food while you eat.. Also there's cockroaches that crawls under the table.. My husband had to chase one and kill it so it wont crawl on us while we eat.. It really needs more improvement with cleanliness.. The food was not so good.. I tried their bicol express octopus and it was nothing special, the kibao shells was ok but one of them was empty.. The chubby guy did replace it with another one..
Also a little slow in service.. We had to wait 5 mins for an extra rice =)
Overall, you can do away with eating here on your visit.. Try santino and la sirenetta.. They are way better..

It was our first meal when our plane landed in Coron. Hungry from the one hour flight and since we missed lunch, we were searching for a good decent restaurant. After several stops at small food shops which are already closed since it is past 2 p.m., we went to Kawayanan Grill Station. Typical orders of pansit, inihaw na baboy (pork) and squid, filled our hungry tummies to satisfaction. Not only that the restaurant had a quaint interiors of wind chimes made of shells and native crafts. Our balikbayan guests were so happy to find the food delicious.

This place was ok. My friend suggested we check it out because they had liked it. The food was quite good. Service was average. Food was all cold as we had gone there for lunch and lunchtime and this is the time of day when there is no electricity.

We went to this place after checking out restaurants to visit in Coron. We went there to visit for some drinks however, there wasn't much people in the restaurant.

Food: We ordered Arroz Caldo and Chicharon Bulaklak which were both ok but were expensive. Taste is just right. We had a bucket of beer, which costs Php 60 a bottle. There's a soup station where you can get all the soup you want.

Service: It seemed as if there were only 2 or 3 waiters in the restaurant. There weren't many people in the restaurant yet the service was slow.

Ambience: I liked the ambience of the restaurant- which had an outdoor garden with bamboo theme. There were nice huts were you can sit back, lounge and relax. Although there are electric fans, it's not enough to keep the mosquitoes away, so make sure you bring a repellant.
The restaurant has an airconditioned part called Subasco which also a restobar, this is an option if you don't want mosquito bites. We stayed outsice because we loved the ambience there.

Location: Restaurant is just a 10-20 minute ride away the town proper

Try this restaurant; there are limited choices in Coron, only for the ambience.

But the prices are high. The place is a little hot although they do have fans there. I'd rather spend the same amount in the other sea-side restaurants.
