The water here varies from hot to cold, so when you're swimming your arms could be very warm but your legs freezing! It's a very strange experience. Also, the water here is very oily in appearance due to the salt and fresh water combining together. It's an interesting experience and a beautiful lagoon, but I didn't particularly enjoy swimming in it!
There is a cool underpass though where you can swim through from one lagoon to the other during low tide.
