The resort is fantastic, with a very nice pool (that in the night is lighted with blue lights) where you can relax for an entire day. The location is not the best, but they offer free tricycle service to get to Coron (6/7 minutes), and then you can get back with few pesos. The staff is really really nice. Breakfast and restaurnat is very good. These are the pros.
The cons are: there is too much noise during the night, that come from the generator of electricity and the roasters and dogs around. The rooms are provided with very thin courtains and since they all face to pool, there isn't so much privacy. We asked thicker courtains, but they should provide as default. Water is too hot and you can hardly take a shower.

I highly recommend this place! Clean and well maintained, attentive staff, free transport to the town centre, and i love to just relax by the beautiful pool which i like taking pictures of especially at night. Nice and well presented huts are also available where u can also relax or dine. Will definitely go back here!

Very well designed and maintained facility. Basic but good breakfast. Beds and rooms, although tight, are very clean - I slept great. WiFi slow, but about the same speed as encountered everywhere else on my trip. Free tricycle to city helps to overcome location problems (not walkable to downtown).

It is our second stay here in Sunz En Coron and my kids aged 7 and 3 are just at home with the resort, the staff and especially the very kind owner of the resort. The rooms are very clean and also along with the bathrooms. My kids love the swimming pool!
The staff are also very trustworthy because on our first day we were roomed in two deluxe rooms because there were no available family rooms yet and they informed us that they will secure a family room the next day. The staff helped us move all our luggage and stuff in the family room the next day. =)
The resort is very near the town but is give a quiet and secure location for guests.
We can't wait for our next trip! Every year we really have to visit Coron, Palawan.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunz en coron Resort!

The location is ideal. It's only a 5-10 minute tricycle ride into Coron Town. With its peaceful and beautifully maintained gardens and cozy guest rooms.

The pool area is very pleasant, and includes a kids area. And again, at night the pool is quite lovely all lit up. There are several cottages surrounding the pool where you can ask to have your meals served and you can sit and read or enjoy a cocktail.

The restaurant was lovely. We had breakfast there every day, and had lunch and dinner there on several occasions. The food was very good. Service was prompt and the wait staff very friendly.

The guest rooms are not large, but are decent enough sized that they don't feel cramped at all.They are spotlessly clean and very nicely appointed.

Perhaps the best thing about Sunz en coron is president and staff. Their customer service is exemplary! They could not be more friendly and accommodating -- our every wish was their immediate command: arranging a tricycle into town, setting up tours or anything else we required. They were absolutely fantastic.

I highly recommend Sunz en coron Resort to any travelers to Coron, and we would stay again in a heartbeat whenever we return.

We are a young couple from Switzerland and it was our first time on Philippines. We have found this hotel online and decided to spend there our first night on the island. At the beginning everything looked fine except the shower which was impossible to use. First because it was just in the middle of the bathroom next to the wc, so it was impossible to shower without making everything wet. Second, you could shower only with an iced cold or with an extremely hot water.
But this was not the worst thing. In fact, in the evening we went downtown in order to get something to eat. Before going out, we carefully prepared a certain amount of money we had to pay in the following days for other leisure activities during our staying. ( We have carefully put the money in the backpack). Later when we came back to our room, we were surprised by seeing that the lights were on, but unfortunately we didn't give much importance to it as sometimes the staff comes in to prepare the room for the night.
The next day, we found out that exactly 2000 pesos were missing. When we went to the reception and told them the fact, they promised us to solve the problem and that we have to come back the next day in order to talk to the responsible person and to the police. To our surprise on the next day none of the two was there. Instead one collaborator made us a weird proposition. The hotel was willing to give us our money back but in return we had to sign a contract, where was written that nothing has happened, because as they told us, they have to preserve their image and reputation!!! We couldn't believe our ears! Surely we didn't sign anything and didn't take the money, because it was a matter of fact and such a thing reminds us something similar to a corruption!!!
I hope that this was the first and would be the last time we experience something similar. Just one thing is sure, we will never stay at this hotel again!

This is sunz en coron resort

This is the side story for review of Ms.Kristina.

The management was very sorry for what happened to them.. We always want all of our guests to enjoy and have a good time here in Coron and especially here in Sunz En Coron Resort. We will always willing to do our best to take good care of our valuable guests..

Sunz en Coron Resort is operating for almost 4 years. The management and all of the staffs are very proud for many positive images and reviews that we gain from the start until now.

The experience of Ms. Kristina was first time happened in Sunz En Coron Resort it was unfortunately unbelievable though we were embarrassed by that happening.

We want to explain our side of story because what Ms. Kristina wrote down was very unfair and not true.

According to Ms. Kristina she found out that she lost the 2,000.00 pesos from her backpack when they are already in their next destination because they checked out in Sunz En Coron early morning
The whole day they visit many places in Coron and then Suddenly they just came back in Sunz En late evening to complain that they lost 2,000.00 pesos. We really wonder how they insist that they lost it here our place when they said they are not quite sure, only the reason is the alleged turned on light in their room one day before but they said they were not 100% sure
According to her maybe it was turned on by one of our staff. However all of housekeeping staffs is out of duty before 5:pm and no one allowed in the guest room without any permission from the guest and all the keys were kept in the reception area for the security.


The management ordered their secretary to go to police to report and request an investigation. But according to the police they can’t do that because it must be Ms. Kristina who make a proper complain on their office with proof and evidence about the alleged lost money.
Actually we have a House Policy that they already signed when they checked in and it was very clear there that we have a safety box available in the reception for cash, passport,and other valuable things. Resort management is not liable for any losses.




Anyway, we consider their alleged experience, but we explained to them that we could not accept that it was done by one of our staff, because their evidence, reason and situation was not
Clear and they said also they are not quite sure. Still we want them to enjoy their stay here in Coron we felt very sorry for what happened that’s why the management decided to give 2,000.00 and requested them they have to sign the acknowledgement receipt for the record and with note that they will not make a bad review for our reputation because nobody sure where they really lost it., definitely it was not a contract and for payment of their lost money it was only the kind consideration of the management. They agree on that, then while the secretary making the acknowledgement receipt , there was argument and shouting inside office between two of them, and then suddenly Ms. Kristina came out crying and said they will not get the money anymore, the guy is following her while keep on apologizing to all of our staffs.
We still wondering what happened exactly.


We feel very sorry and learn something from that first and last experienced because we will not let it happen again

A very nice resort. Small rooms but doesn't matter to me as we are out for out tour and will be back late noon. Rooms are clean, however one night when we were there, there's a blackout for about 15mins but the electricity came back afterwards. It's 5-10 mins by tricycle to 'town'. Staffs are very friendly and humble. Foods are tasty and affordable. Wifi connections are very bad during our stay though. No connection at all due to some technical problems. Overall, happy to have stayed in this resort.
