“Better than any other island in coron”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

It wouldve been better if our tour was longer here in the island. One hour wasnt enough. Other island were okay but not great. There were clown fishes at the shallow part and the sea was great

Like d place overall, with picnic tables that are clean and can be rented for just p100, a hammock that u can rest (just be wary of falling coconuts), a passable toilet n wash area.

“Worth the trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

We were informed by our guide that Malcapuya is abouth 30 km south of Coron and probably because of the distance it is not as crowded as the other islands on our trip,or maybe we just got lucky. It's a seemingly endless stretch of powdery white sand and on a beautiful day with cloudless skies,it is hard to beat. I can imagine what it must feel like to own an island paradise such as this. Richard Branson for 1/2 a day. Glorious warm water ,perfect for splashing about-great snorkelling a bonus. Hoping it stays that way.

“White Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

There's a few people here, it's not that crowded (or maybe it's just me). We had fun soaking in the water and white sand. There's a basketball court and a place where you can play volleyball.

“Glad to have visited”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

I noticed, there is a dearth of white sand beaches in Coron spanning more than a hundred or so meters. Most of the time, it would just be a small expanse with, more often than not, a small community living in it.

That's what makes Malcapuya Island special. It is the widest white beach I've seen in and around Coron. Well, that and its waters that even Goldilocks would approve- not too cold and not too hot but, just right! Just not sure if its always that way.

Glad to have visited before they close it to visitors to make way for construction work and make it exclusive to the resort being put up. Sigh..
