A well situated and delightful B&B overlooking the Market square in Easingwold.
The owners provide a friendly welcome for visitors in clean rooms that have comfortable beds.
Breakfast is a "proper" English breakast, with a good choice of cereals and lovely bacon & sausages.
The Market Square has Restaurants & Pubs a few moments walk, together with other useful shops and cash machines.
Driving to it is not obvious as you have to go around the one way system, however the map on the website worked for me.

The Old Vicarage what a charm of a place!! Hosts John & Christine most welcoming with a tray of tea & biscuits as soon as we arrived!! Shown to our spotlessly clean beautiful room the attention to detail is to be noted! Magazines local entertainment and eating places for your perusal............
A deilcious cooked breakfast in a sun laden dining room what more could one ask for? I asked for some beans 'not sure said John' no worries was my reply and low and behold some beans arrived with my poached egg!!!
We travel alot and stay in many hotels, B & B's This lovely listed building set in beautiful grounds was a pleasure to stay at our only sadness was that we couldnt stay longer!!
The pleasure was all ours thank you so much John & Christine we have been singing your praises all day!!! Long may your business prosper

Room Tip: Farndale Room just beautiful reminded us of staying at my Aunts in the Costwolds

This guest house is in a lovely listed building in a very pretty village in North Yorkshire. The owners are very friendly and the breakfasts are good.

The bedrooms are dated and the shower room was very small with a curtained shower and had obviously not been updated for 20 years. Normally I would not complain because everything was spotless and the beds were very comfortable but at the price of £90 for a small standard room with an old tiny shower and washhand basin more was expected.

The other downside was the noise from the market set up which took place from 2.30 am until 4.00am, very near the house. Also the pub opposite has before daylight deliveries. Only stay if you sleep soundly.

Room Tip: Ask if there is a room at the back.

If you prefer privacy and a quiet, relaxing environment, this B&B cannot be beat! Christine is a most welcoming hostess and the cottage is clean, cozy and charming. I had the privilege of staying while visiting England and it was a memorable experience. Thank you again Christine for a wonderful Stay!
Best Wishes!
