“The best night in castiglion fiorentino!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2012

A beatiful place in the centre of castiglion fiorentino. There're four underground rooms each one in a different style, from the roman empire to the old west. Once you're in you feel like a pirate ready for a cup of rhum (if you'll ask the owner you'll be told everything about rhum!!).pizza is the best in town but you can have much more than pizza.they've salad hamburger hotdog pasta...beer is delicious you MUST try the double malt.during the summer you can enjoy your meal outside.definetely the best place to have the best night!

“English pub not an Italian restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 September 2011

TV on with video clips, later on football. Antipasta was fried stuff & fries. Probably nice with a group of friends, not for a romantic Italian dinner.

“Incredible value & Sky Sports 1 !!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 September 2011

We were staying at a rural B&B in Brolio near Castiglion Fiorentino & sought out this Pizzeria/Pub because of the great Trip Advisor recommendations. The location is stunning with tables outside set in a corner of the historical Piazza del Municipio with views of stunning scenery by day, & twinkling lights by night, through huge stone archways in the ancient wall to one side. It was very quiet when we arrived at 7:45 p.m. but all the tables were full by the time we left. The prices for food & drinks are really good & there's a huge choice. We enjoyed our pizzas - thin & crispy & obviously cooked in a proper pizza oven - though not quite as good as those we had in San Gimignano. There's a large screen TV projected onto an external wall too which was tuned to an Italian MTV channel until the owner switched to Sky Sports 1 for an English Premiership match. My husband got another beer in & I hit the very reasonable cocktails!! Inside there's a large pub in the cellar, quite OTT with a sailing ship/pirate theme & lots of twinkly lighting. I imagine it would be really cosy & quite lively in the colder months. Also recommend the cafe in the opposite corner for coffee/breakfast pastries/light lunches etc it has lovely decor, all pale wood & light colours with a massive chandelier.
