This was a late booking and the owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We are frequent visitors to the Western Isles but this is the first time that we have stayed on Eriskay and were not at all disappointed. The cottage is well located for easy access to the beaches, very close to the shop and about 2 minute walk to the local pub/restaurant. The cottage has obviously been refurbished recenty to a high standard and has everything that you could possibly need and more. The cottage was very cosy and warm with furnishings of good quality with everything clean and well maintained. I would be happy to recommend this property and would be very happy to go back there myself. We were a party of 8 with 3 teenagers and 1 granny and it suited us all.
It was quite a sight to have the wild herd of ponies outside the garden in the morning, the sheep in the evening and the seals basking in the low sun as we crossed the causeway. This is an ideal property to relax and get away from it all...
