We found this hotel through Relais du Silence guide. We were searching for a high end accommodation for a family with two kids, with an exceptional view in one of the beautiful coastal towns on the north of Brittany. We received exactly that with a very warm and personal service. The property is beautiful: situated on a cliff and surrounded by old pine trees. The hotel itself is not that impressive as the main mansion is separated from the hotel which is built down into the cliff. The rooms are nice and spacious and provide enough space for an extended family. The main attraction that makes this property worth the ride and money is its terraces (in each room) with the most amazing ocean view ever. Another feature that truly made our stay special was an exceptionally friendly and caring service by the reception. The breakfast was lovely with a selection of cheeses, breads, yoghurts and so on. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back.

This is a good hotel and I feel a bit of a heel only giving it a VG, but the lack of a decent restaurant does detract from the ambience and experience. It's relatively modern (circa late 80s) but has benefited from a recent-ish refurbishment. The bedrooms are comfortably large with good beds and stylish furniture. Very good views over the bay through large patio doors. As the hotel faces south east the sunrises (cloud permitting) are excellent. As are the bathrooms (seperate WC) - very modern and efficient with bath/shower. Good range of toiletries. Breakfast was good but nothing especial - the usual suspects. Attentive and very helpful staff who were most accommodating. Excellent location for exploring this part of Brittany and with easy access to the GR34 coastal footpath. The lack of a restaurant meant a trip into town or to the port where there was little real choice. The town itself is somewhat charmless seems to have expanded in all directions (including seaward) but at the expense of any real soul or character. But as hotels go this is, well, very good.

The hotel is quite modern and perched on a cliffside with good views of the sea although the port in the distance is not beautiful to look at. The hotel itself is modern with good sized rooms overlooking the sea.

Stayed here for 2 nights late August .......Delightful !
Free parking,bike hire available.
Lovely coastal walks directly from the hotel.Plenty of restaurants either in the town or port, although food disappointingly repetitive.

Fabulous views, lovely staff,good value......x

Lovely location above the Channel in this vacation beach resort town. This is the best place in town! Excellent staff and welcome. Very nice breakfast buffet and quality amenities . Worthy of the four star rating. The rooms are a bit small but so well appointed.
Easy to find as signage throughout the town.
Convenient to coastal path , beaches and town centre. Quiet and clean!

Room Tip: ask for a sea view

We stayed one night here whilst touring Brittany. Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful.
Our room was a bit small - as was the bathroom - but everything was clean. Double sliding doors opened onto the balcony - which had table & chairs. The view out to sea was great - but there might have been even better views from other rooms in the hotel.
The weather wasn't great - but what little sun we had warmed the bedroom significantly. This could make the room too hot on really sunny days.
Nevertheless - we'd definitely return!
