“Nature with culture add value”

There is a lot of reviews highlighting nature beauty of Athirappilly Waterfalls. I totally agree with them. Thus I won't repeat once again that waterfalls are magnificent. I will give one advise for those who like thrilling experience: sit near cafeteria and wait for some paretnt to buy some goody to a kid. Monkeys will do the show xD

“Cool”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014

Athirappilly Waterfalls is a very beautiful view to watch for hours during mansoon. Looks like a lady wearing a thin pearl necklace on a green silk saree. The rich greenary and the fresh air along with the sound of roaring water is something to experience. Love this place a lot.

“Absolutely mind boggling!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

We visited Athirapilly (also known as Athirapally) near Trisoor in Kerala. What a sight it was! With monsoon in full swing, it was worth every single penny spent. If you are visiting between June and September, make sure to have umbrellas. There are two spots from where you can have a good look - one on the top where the water begins to fall and one at the bottom. However, during monsoon, it is impossible to take any photographs if you prefer to take the trek to the bottom because of the magnitude of the foam created by the waterfall.

This is a must-see place in India. However, the downside is that there isn't any first aid center available nearby. Make sure to wear shoes if you plan to go to the bottom of the waterfall. This place is absolute bliss.
