Was staying here for one night but loved it that much i stayed three instead. Yes the site is basic but has everything you need, i camped at the bottom on the left side a few meters from the loch side. Walk through the gate to the beach and walk left to a area with a bench and barbicue to get a chance to see otters, porpoise, sea eagles and if lucky a whale or two. Amazing area and peaceful

Room Tip: If camping go to the bottom of site

So navigating the long narrow road was a bit of a pain in our camper and honestly when we drove down into the entrance of the most westerly campsite on the UK mainland (I think!), we weren't sure what we let ourselves in for but actually the two toilets, two showers and dish washing facility was adequate. It was all pretty clean (just ignore the cobwebs!). The views were fantastic and it's very close for the Kilchoan-Tobermoray ferry and other places to see. The guy that runs the site was friendly and helpful and we were less than £20 a night (£7.50 per person plus electric).

The only downsides we found were quite uneven pitches with electric hookup (but I suspect the torrential rain doesn't help this!) and no chemical loo disposal (not a huge deal as we only stayed two nights).

All in all, fairly basic but nice.

Beautiful campsite. Views from the campsite are fantastic. Very peaceful and relaxing. Facilities all you need. Clean free showers. Clean toilets. Fridge and good indoor washing facilities. The road is long but it is worth the effort. The shop in the village has everything. Lots to do in the area.

This site, only 5 mins from the ferry landing point in Ardnamurchan has all the basic amenities - 2 loos, 2 showers and a pot wash sink, along with a fridge for campers and limited wifi.

For a family of 4 in a camper van (Ford Freda) we paid £24 a night for 2 adults, 2 kids and electric. Which was quite high pricewise when compared to other sites we used on our travels - but the showers are free, which when others are charging £1 a shower (adding £4 to an £18 fee) - it in reality isn't that much more expensive.

Excellent views across to Mull and around the bay - very handy for Sana beach and exploring Ardnamurchan. We stayed for 2 nights, after which we wild camped at Castle Tioram.

The crowd at this site were very much tourers, no one save for geology students would stay on here.

Room Tip: There is camping right by the shore line which isn't obvious when you enter the site at the top.
