Delighted you enjoyed your stay in Grassington and Grassington Lodge so much! It was lovely to have you stay and you certainly added to the fun we can often have in the breakfast room!
Thank you for taking the time tor review us.
Just returned from a three day stay at Grassington Lodge my wife and I and my brother with his wife this is our fifth year and the standard has never dropped ..... it still remains the number one place to stay in Grassington
Diane is the perfect hostess ...... Friendly .. welcoming ... informative ... always there with a smile
we can honestly say she has become a friend .... thank you Di
Her staff are from the same mould all excellent
after long walks they are there offering cold drinks and during the recent the recent hot days cooling fans where placed in the rooms
The rooms are clean and beautifully presented
We stayed in the Vendale Suites which are detached from the main house
lovely rooms with its own private patio
I can't recommend the Lodge high enough
on another note the people of Grassington are some of the nicest people I have ever met
Thanks again Di and staff xx
Such kind words....Richard!! Thank you so much but it certainly raised a smile when you said 'informative'! I had more of the local news from you over breakfast that I could have got in a week! It is always lovely to see you all and hope you will come back to us yet again next year!

'Best B & B' ever.....that is one to live up to!! Thank you for your glowing review and hope to see you again!
We visited Grassington Lodge after seeing it on ‘Four in a Bed ‘. We stayed on 22nd July and stayed in room 8 at the top of the lodge and were very impressed by the welcome and warm greeting we received on our arrival. We were shown to our room and on entering it proved we had chosen a quality B&B as the room was bright spacious and finished to a very high spec, the bed was one of the most comfortable we had ever slept in. To make your stay more comfortable there was a fan ( which came in handy as the day was very hot )Molton Brown in the bathroom, white dressing gowns in the wardrobe and free wifi, iron board & iron, binoculars, a fridge with two bottles of water and tea & coffee making facilities.
We met Dianne the owner at breakfast who took time to talk to all her guest whilst helping out organise the orders. The breakfast its self was excellent and very filling and set us up for our onward journey later that morning to Malham Cove.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Grassington Lodge to all my friends and family and to anyone else for quality accommodation, excellent hosts and more than value for money with nice walks and beautiful scenery on your door step. We will certainly be going back to Grassington Lodge and North Yorkshire.
We seemed to hit the mark on.....well, everything!! Thank you for being so kind to us about your stay and for the intention of recommending to friends and family. Although I personally feel slightly 'exposed' having appeared on the 'Four in a Bed' programmed, it has presented to us to many people who would not have known about us and, to date, we don't seem to have let them down! Thank you for your review!
We received a warm welcome and Diane was very helpful with the booking of the Turkish Baths in Harrington.
The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruits, crispy bacon and hash browns who were new for us.
We had a very pleasant stay in this B&B!
Thank you for your review and I am glad you enjoyed our English breakfast so much and, of course, the delights of the Harrogate Spa. We are pleased to be able to welcome so many guests from across the Channel.....thank you for choosing to stay with us.
I enjoyed my stay at the Lodge. The room (room 9) was comfortably furnished and had all the amenities you would expect - white towels, dressing gowns, Molton Brown in the bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV. It also has free wi-fi. The room overlooking the carpark which I guess could be noisy at times but it didn't disturb me. The noise from the fridge in the room however was really annoying. Its not a very large room and the fridge was close to the bed. (I am very light sleeper mind you!) The en-suite bathroom was a small shower room & toilet but very clean and had a good shower.
(Suggest they turn the mattress over though, it has a dip in it - but comfy all the same).
The breakfasts were excellent. Impressive cooked breakfasts, delicious cereal and fresh fruit. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
The Lodge is a stone's throw from the centre of the village.
As you can tell,I'm a bit of a Princess but I thought it was a lovely B&B and I would stay there again.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your comprehensive review. Your comments, good and not so good, have been noted. We accept that the fridge can be a little noisy which is why we invite you to switch it off at the mains at night - however, the benefits of a fridge in this weather we think are worth it.....hope you agree!! The real 'acid test' is whether you would stay again.....and you have said you would!! That is good enough for us! I hope you will do just that as you are very welcome!
