My wife and I were on a short break in Cornwall over the May Bank holiday. As usual, everywhere seemed to be fully booked for a meal inn the evening and we dropped into the bar (The Cutty sark) for a drink while we decided what to do about eating. We noticed a few empty tables and were pleased to get a table. When the food arrived I have to admit I was surprised how good it was (having an indifferent lunch in the nearby upmarket Godolphin hotel). Both meals were beautifully prepared and presented - my only regret was I didn't have the time to go back for another meal before leaving Cornwall.
