We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B; the hosts Paul and Judith were very welcoming and had plenty of information about the surrounding area and local amenities. Our room was lovely and we also had use of a shared kitchen which was handy for storing chilled food - something rarely offered in other B&B accommodation. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and you can enjoy a lovely view out to sea while you eat it. There is ample parking for all guests at the rear of the property which we found a huge bonus, but the entrance to it is very narrow. We would definitely use this B&B if we visited the area again.

We stayed 3 nights a the Blue Horizon (BH). Our room "Marazion" was light and airy, had an ensuite, and a view of the sea. There is a kitchen for guest use - this was bonus - BH was the only place, ie out of the 5 B&B we stayed in, that had this facility. The BH breakfast room is bright and sunny and looks out on to the rear of the property.

There is free parking available at BH. Access to the parking is via a narrow entry/driveway - this may be a little unnerving for some, however Cornwall is full of narrow streets/lanes/access points, so it comes with the territory. Approached with care and patience the parking access is do-able. Tip - fold in car wing mirrors. It's really worth getting into the carpark as the view to St Michael's Mount is lovely.

Paul and Judy are great hosts - warm and welcoming. Paul helped us carry heavy luggage up/down to our room (a big help for folks with bad backs). Also, they generously lent us warm clothing to wear on a night out to the Minack theatre.

We found Marazion to be a great location for the following reasons
- easy drive to get to lots of interesting places in the southern part of Cornwall (and beyond)
- a quiet place to rest at night, it was nice to arrive back in Marazion after a day on the road sightseeing
- St Michael's Mount is on their doorstep
- there are various places to get a nice meal within easy walking distance

When walking in Marazion, use the pedestrian pavements - this sometimes means changing sides of the road, but this is better/safer than walking on the road itself.

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The breakfast was excellent and the service very good. The hosts are attentive and very professional. We stayed in the Porthleven room. The bed and cushions were very comfortable and the room had loads of storage space. We also appreciated the Power Shower in the en suite. The only thing to bear in mind is that you can hear people moving about in the room above, and people talking in the passage. This is not a big issue, but worth mentioning. Getting your car into the lane to access the parking might be a problem, as it really is very very narrow. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend this B&B. The location makes it excellent for exploring Cornwall and it is very good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the first floor.

Judith & Paul are the perfect hosts of this brilliant Guest House. En suite rooms are clean & quiet. Plenty of beverages on hand to whet your thirst and soft towels to dry your body. TV, radio & DVD player are provided.
My wife loved the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon & I enjoyed perfectly cooked English breakfasts. In fact, it is better than many 4star hotels we have stayed in. Excellent value so we will return soon.

Hosts very welcoming - we were greeted with cups of tea & cake. Rooms really good with excellent sea views. Breakfast very good too. Particularly liked the guests kitchen which we were able to use to put picnic items in the fridge. It was very well equipped (microwave/cooker etc). They really seem to have really thought of all the comforts you might need. Only issue for some might be that the narrow lane & very tight turn into the lane might be a problem if you are taking a large family car.

We stayed for two nights for a wedding in marazion , Paul and judith were very welcoming and we found the guest house very clean and tidy. The breakfasts were suberb just the thing to set you up for the day. We did not have time to try the hot tub but will certainly try it in the summer when we return. The idea of having breakfast on the patio over looking St Micheals Mount appeals to us ! Can't wait to return soon.

We called at the Blue Horizon on spec after discovering the lovely village of Marazion. We were fortunate enough to be able to get a room for the night after the B&B had a cancellation earlier that day. Paul and Judith gave us a really warm welcome including drinks and cakes whilst they put an extra bed in our room. The room was on the top floor with wonderful views of St Michael's Mount from the window. It was clean and cosy with everything we needed.
Our hosts gave us information on where to eat that evening and places to go. The breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and my young son was delighted with his gift of a chocolate egg on Easter Sunday!
I would definitely recommend this B&B as a place to stay and we felt comfortable and really looked after throughout our short stay. We would not hesitate to return.
