“Lovely guest house, great views”
Reviewed 8 July 2012

We have stayed here a number of times and never get tired of the beautiful surroundings. Staying at Blue Horizon makes our holliday completely relaxing as Paul and Judith are exceptional hosts who have a great nack of putting us at ease during our stay. The rooms are extreemly comfortable with en suites. The breakfast room has a lovely conservatory and the cooked breakfasts are very tasty having been cooked on the Arga. Paul has excellent local knowledge and can recommend somewhere to eat locally or a nice walk.

Marazion is a charming market town. There are several excellent pubs serving good food and ale. A pint of Tribute goes down very well after a relaxing walk across the causeay to St Michaels Mount. I can also recommend the coastal walk towards Praa Sands gives some spectacular views back down towards the Mount. The beach is great for the kids with loads of space to explore and play.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place and will be comming back year after year.

We stayed here for a long wkend & it was perfect, close to pubs, St Michaels, shops and the owners were very welcoming & provided everything needed. The room was great size, very clean & well thought out. I shopped around and this place was cheaper than others in area and a great find ! Plus the greatest thing about this place is there hot tub ...great after a day walking. We are planning a visit back at end of Aug / Sept

What a find! We were greeted with a smile, a cup of tea and cake! The room was delightful with a great view of the sea and Judith and Paul made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble! Would certainly return and recommend anyone looking for a B&B in the area to give it a try.
Thank you so much!

What a fabulous B&B easy to find and the hosts Judith and Paul made us so welcome.
My wife and I had never stayed at a B&B before and did not know what to expect, in fact we kind of figured Fawlty Towers might be what one was like. It couldn't be further from the truth what we found was a pleasant atmosphere and the room was adorable and the service was great the breakfast set us up for the day.
I inadvertantly left my wallet behind and 50 miles later I figured what I had done we returned and to my surprise I was greeted at the door by a smiling Paul who led me to the safe where it had been put for safe keeping. No Basil Fawlty but just about as funny, his sense of humour was just what we needed after a hard day travelling against all the traffic from the Cornwall show.
A terrific place clean, warm, comfortable and great hosts.
Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

We would highly recommend this b&b. The hosts, Paul and Judith were extremely friendly and nothing, in the way of help, was too much trouble for them, they made us very welcome. The breakfasts were excellent. We stayed in the room called "Marazion", very clean and comfortable and with a splendid sea view. Blue Horizon is ideally situated for a walk across the front, a trip over to St.Michael's Mount and there are good local pubs for evening meals. Furthermore, Marazion makes a good central point for visiting parts of southern Cornwall such as the Lizard Peninsular, Falmouth, St.Ives or Lands End all not very far away. We really enjoyed our stay there, good value for money and made that much special by Judith and Paul's friendliness and extreme care and attention. 100%!
