Stayed here with my daughter for three nights. Her flight was delayed which made our arrival at St. Michael's quite late. Phoned to let Paul and Alison know and Paul was so kind and helpful. He assured me that our room would be waiting and told me not to rush and to drive safely. What a guy! Our room was fabulous! Breakfast was the best I have ever had and nothing was a problem. Paul and Alison are wonderful hosts and the whole atmosphere of St. Michaels is happy and relaxed. We will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to our friends. So glad we found it!

We have just spends three nights in this delightful bed and breakfast. Paul and Alison made us feel extremely welcome throughout our stay with them. I really cannot rate St Michael's highly enough, the accommodation is light, airy, spacious and very tastefully decorated throughout. Breakfast was delicious, expertly cooked by Alison and served by Paul. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. At breakfast Paul took the time to offer helpful advice on the local area - where to go and what to see. We will definitely be staying again, and I would highly recommend St Michael's as a lovely place to stay.

We were lucky enough to have stayed here 3 years ago under the previous owners and had a superb 5 day break back in 2010. Our flight from Scilly was delayed due to fog and we had decided to stay somewhere overnight rather than face a 4 hour drive back home. We were delighted to see that St. Michael's had availibilty for the night and my husband booked over the phone. Thankfully we arrived in Marazion shortly after 5, Paul and Alison were so very welcoming we knew we'd made the right choice. After being offered tea and cake , (we only declined because we wanted to watch the sun going down on the Mount....) Paul showed us to our room, the same room we had stayed in previously! A few changes and been made, but wow! made a huge difference, the shutters on the window were stunning and the arm-chairs were soooo comfortable!!! I could go on but I won't... We returned after a good meal at The Godolphin..... Ben's Kitchen was fully booked...... I sank into the most comfortable bed ever, I had forgotten how good the beds are. Awoke to the smell of bacon cooking downstairs, couldn't wait to go down! Paul greeted us like old friends, showed us the amazing buffet, mostly prepared by Alison, and offered us tea/coffee. We both chose the Full Cornish... everything was good, coffee, toast, beans, just love beans with cooked breakfast!! We watched Paul advising guests directions and places to go, Alison cooked the best breakfast ever, although she did decline to do my ironing the night before???? This Is the place to stay in Marazion! Paul and Alison thank you for our one night stay, we only wish it could have been longer, you've made a good place an amazing place!!!!

Wow! Thanks Alison and Steve for taking the time to write such an amazing review! We are thrilled to bits that you were so comfortable during your short stay. It's also brilliant that you have rated us so highly and appreciated the little things we have done in our two years at the helm to take St Michael's to the next level. We do hope you'll be able to stay a little longer next time you are in this part of Cornwall to really chill out. Warmest regards Paul & Alison.

I stayed with Paul and Alison for 3 nights in September 2013 and can only describe it as wonderful. They are truly welcoming and treat every guest as friends. The breakfast was superb with fine local ingredients used. The room was lovely and spacious. Make this your home if visiting Cornwall. It's ideally central for so many attractions and Paul is the main man for good advice on what to see and do.

I would love to stay here again and can't wait to my next trip to Cornwall and Marazion.

Room Tip: All the rooms are unique and different having been shown them by Paul and Alison. I couldn't re...

We spent 2 nights in July at St. Michael's B & B. The location just a few steps from the center of town make it the perfect choice for a quiet, comfortable, and convenient visit. Our room was bright and clean, the shower and toilet worked well, and the delicious breakfasts were made from local ingredients. Private off street parking is located behind the house. Alison is a very pleasant and knowledgable hostess. She can recommend places to visit, restaurants to eat at, and driving routes to maximize your enjoyment of Marazion and the surrounding area. Great choice.
Cheers!

From the moment we were greeted in the car park, Paul and Alison ensured our stay at St Michael's B&B was as special as the clear blue skies which accompanied our first visit to St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre and this beautiful part of Cornwall.

And like Alison's Cornish breakfasts, everything about St Michael's B&B was perfect, including our spotlessly clean room and bathroom, as well as the dining room and common areas, not to mention the warm hospitality and Paul's genuine interest in what we planned each day.

The standard of excellence achieved at St Michael's B&B should be regarded as the objective to which all in the leisure industry should aspire, not least many hotel groups who sadly undersell themselves by failing to do so.

Thank you Paul and Alison - we look forward to re-visiting West Cornwall and to renewing the pleasure of staying at St Michael's Bed & Breakfast.
