We would like to thank Paul and Alison for a lovely three night stay, you made us very welcome from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Room was spacious, quiet and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, loved the homemade marmalade! Will recommend to friends and family. Marazion was a great place to base ourselves and loved the fact we were close to St Michaels Mount and short drives to other popular towns.

Thank you again :)

Dear Justin and Amanda, thanks ever so much for taking time out whilst enjoying your UK tour to write us such a glowing review via your mobile. It was lovely to meet you both and we're delighted that you were able to see and do so much during your all to brief visit. Alison is pleased you liked her marmalade so much - it makes all the peeling and boiling worth while. We wish you well for your travels and hope that one day you might visit us again. Warmest regards Paul & Alison.

We used St Michaels Bed & Breakfast as our base for a trip to explore Cornwall and couldn't have been more pleased. The place was spotless, welcoming us with tea/coffee and homemade cake and the breakfast was amazing setting us up for the day. Paul and Alison are very friendly and have a knowledge of the local area, and even lending us a local map to find those more out of the way places. Would recommend this guest house to anyone.

Room Tip: the trip involved using nearly all the rooms (a group of us went) and everyone was pleased with thei...

My Mum & I stayed with Paul & Alison for 3 nights, great hosts, perfect location for us - with parking, fabulous breakfasts and a lovely cup of tea and home made scones on arrival. Friendly and helpful advice, and great attention to detail ....watch out for Paul's Lobster Pot story. We would definately recommend St Michael's as a brilliant place to explore the further end of Cornwall in a relaxed and friendly place! Looking forward to another visit...

Room Tip: Our twin room overlooked the main road, but it was very quiet and peaceful......other rooms looked l...

We stayed here for only one night as we were travelling round the area, and were delighted to have found St Michael's B&B, and Alison and Paul in particular.
What a lovely warm greeting, as Alison came out to help us with the car and luggage, and then she and Paul found time for a cup of tea and a chat, with every appearance of having nothing they would rather be doing- just lovely.
The room was comfortable with all the extras one would expect of a B&B of this standard. Since this is an area that people visit from all over the world, the standards have to be very high to meet world travellers' expectations and all the amenities were there.
We dined at Ben's Cornish Kitchen, which we would highly recommend, but managed to find a space for breakfast.
I thought St Michael's dining room was just delightful, very fresh and pretty while modern and efficient, and the breakfast buffet was lovely and well thought out, with quirky little pots of yogurt and honey, or fresh berries, along with a huge range of fresh fruits and compotes. The apricots with star anise were particularly special! and Alison was kind enough to pass on the recipe for granola which I will endeavour to copy- home made preserves showed the attention to detail.
We would recommend this B&B to anyone lucky enough to be visiting the area and thank Paul and Alison for their warm hospitality

Room Tip: /Don't worry if your room overlooks the street, you still see the castle and bay, while there is...

Dear Jane and Richard, Thank you so much for your comprehensive and very complimentary review. It means a great deal to us that people such as yourselves put a great deal of time and thought into their review and pleasing to us that you have clearly enjoyed your brief stay at St Michael's. We're also delighted that you enjoyed your meal at Ben's Cornish Kitchen in Marazion, which we always recommend as it's one of the best restaurants in Cornwall. Alison was really pleased that you appreciated her special little touches on the breakfast menu. Thanks again for your generous comments. We had a wonderful relaxing stay over the Easter weekend. We chose st michaels from trip advisor and because it was close to family. The room was lovely, breakfast was lovely lots of choice, fruit and yoghurt, different each day and lots of cooked choices. Ideal for non meat eaters. The room was cleaned everyday, the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The hosts paul and alison were very welcoming, suggesting places to eat and visit. I don't think there is anything you could improve on, we will definitely be going back. Thank you Paul and Alison for such a lovely stay.

We stayed here again for the weekend. We enjoyed our stay as usual. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor it was a lovely large room, with a super large bed. Breakfast is always great, things like homemade bread and a good variety to choose from, spoilt for choice. The diet starts tomorrow. Well done and thank you Paul and Allison for a great stay.
