Stunning iconic landmark of Cornwall, well worth a visit ,you can either walk across low tide or catch the boat ferry for £2 pp.
Entry to the castle did seem over-priced.

A very interesting walk into the site. You need to arrive before 2:15pm to walk to St Michael's Mount or else use the boats after that. Make sure to have your cameras ready as it's a very scenic walk of the Cornish Coast! Children friendly, it is a little difficult trek up for the older people, but certainly worth it!

We have been to St Michaels Mount before and found that it was covered in scaffolding. I am pleased to say that this has now all gone so we were able to see its full beauty.
We enjoyed timing the tied so that we could walk across to the mount.
St Michaels Mount is definitely well worth visiting

Loved this place and it truly is a whole day out, our children loved it. Going over to the island in the boats was a great experience and the men on the boats do work really hard getting people across quickly and safely. It was around £20 for a family of 4 which I thought was quite reasonable. We started out with an ice cream and listened to the lovely lady telling the story about Cormoran the giant on the grass just before the cobbled path leading up to the castle. On the way up the children found the giants well and stone heart. It was quite a walk up that hill but such a joy to see how excited the children were to be going into a giants house. Definitely had the wow factor for us Harry Potter fans!! The castle was lovely, lots of photo opportunities, just a pity the gardens were closed as they looked lovely. Would really recommend this as a 'must see' if you are in the area.
