Truly excellent accommodation - within walking distance of Marazion seafront and shops.

Jayne was very welcoming and our large beautifully furnished room was comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Denham House was one of our stops on a 2-week trip through England. It gave us an awesome feel of home away from home and hospitality has been unmatched for us.

We traveled as a family of four -- 2 adults and 2 kids -- and all were made comfortable in the ample space and surroundings. The twin beds comfortably slept the kids and the queen bed was perfect for the adults. The dining area was well appointed with contemporary furniture, coffee, tea, refrigerator etc. facilities within the room. There were full supplies of sugar, coffee etc. and we didn't need a thing.

The welcome basket and the morning breakfasts are truly a treat. Filled with local delicacies ordered from a menu of items, they were all delicious. We were able to make hard-boiled farm-fresh eggs in the room as well as enjoy the breads, fruit and more.

The bathroom is luxurious as well with supplies. The home is well situated, close to the beach, the causeway to St. Michael's Mount and the towns of Marazion.

An excellent place to stay!

Room Tip: An awesome bed and breakfast experience

Cannot fault the facilities and the friendly relaxed service. Jayne has created a wonderful haven of peace that makes the start and end of the day just as enjoyable as the busy days out. Easy walking distance to beach and the village pubs. Perfect.

Denham House was recommended to us by our son and, though he was very enthusiastic about all aspects of his visit and the website photos are most inviting, it was still a suprising thrill to step inside the hallway and then into our suite! Everything is stunningingly presented, spacious, fresh, wonderfully clean and very private. We felt like we were the first ones to have ever stayed there! Attention to detail and thoughtfulness is very evident (see other reviews for all the appreciation which we fully endorse). Sunnyside was described as having 2 beds but, the day before we arrived, Jayne had replaced one with a leather settee and a coffee table - and the room is now even more stunning and comfortable! And, the super-king, beautiful French bed is still there! Jayne must note reviews as there's now a hairdryer in the chest of drawers; and the torch for late night walks is very considerate. We had a wonderful time and do hope we can return. We shall have to anyway as the tide-times meant that we didn't get the chance to walk across the causeway! Nor did we see everything in and around the beautiful Marazion area - and there's a lot, even out of season. You won't be disappointed!

We stayed at Denham House for four nights. We had seen pictures of the room on the website but was still very impressed with the size of the room, and quality of the fixtures and fittings. The ensuite included a walk in shower and jaccuzi bath, and, was also very roomy. We had a great view of St Michaels Mount, and really enjoyed sitting listening to the sea. Breakfast was continental, served in a hamper left outside the door at 08.00hrs. Very convenient for those who enjoy a lay-in. Now we know that there is a large fridge in the room we would take a few provisions with us too. We met the owners, and the cleaner, who were all lovely and friendly. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Marazion which is only a 10 minutes wall away. If your exploring West Cornwall then this is a lovely place to base yourself. And, I would especially recommend it to photographers. Having spoken with Jayne, the owner, we understand that she is compiling local information such as best places to eat, and looking at using local produce for the breakfast. So things can only get even better. One last thing that shouldn't be forgotten was the free WiFi. That was very useful when planning our days out. We did joke with Jayne that we were going to keep Denham House a secret as we don't want to find it fully booked when we want to return.

Spent New Year's Eve here. What a perfect location. Great view, easy access to Marazion and the standard of accommodation was second to none. The entrance to the B& B is like entering a 5* hotel - grand staircase and stone tiled floors ,oozing tasteful luxurious accents. Our room was directly off this entrance hall and was more like a mini suite than a room. What made it even better from our point of view was that breakfast was delivered to the room - no need to meet other guests and make conversation first thing in the morning. Just one thought for improvement could be to introduce a savoury item for the breakfast hamper or perhaps put an egg boiler in the room.
This was a fantastic place to stay - we will certainly return.
