Sian greeted us and could not have been more helpful with maps, suggested venues, routes to drive even found out tide times for our impending snoop around the mount. (£4 each return trip on boat) charming lady/owner. The chalet has everything you will need for self catering, from a cooker to microwave to complimentary tea/coffee/milk satchets, which was welcome and a nice touch. Very clean accomodation, adequate heating using oil radiators and convection heater in bedroom. It was cold outside (Feb) but warm in our chalet. Extra blanket supplied in the room if needed ! Take yer cosys because the indoor pool is a must, temperature like a bath. Thank you Sian, Steve and the team for a lovely stay in your quiet friendly lodge. Recommend without hesitation to one and all. For pics and more info. check out www.whealrodney.co.uk/

The outside temperature when we arrived was around freezing point, but there was a warm welcome from the reception staff, when we entered the lodge the heating was on and everthing was fresh and clean. We had an ejoyable stay and we look forward to our next visit.

Visited the camp site in summer 2011 and loved it so much stayed for extra nights and returned November 2011 to stay in a chalet. This was clean, comfortable with home from home comforts and friendly helpful staff who were not intrusive but always at hand and would assist with every need required. Its position is excellently placed for access to other parts of Cornwall, although right on your doorstep there is wonderful scenery and welcoming people. To add to all this, a relaxing therapeutic warm indoor pool is a hidden delight. I cannot speak highly enough of this site and would strongly recommend it. A hidden jewel!

Room Tip: Out of season is quieter and cheaper.

This is our fourth or fifth trip back to Wheal Rodney and am delighted to say its just as great as ever. We stayed for a week over Xmas and benefited from the decorations, tree and lights that had been put into the Bungalow for us.

As before really the bungalows are very well equipped with all the mod cons you would expect and very clean and tidy. Ours looked like it had been recently done up and had laminate flooring and new bathroom fittings that do not remember from before.
You still get all the extras that I would not say are standard so extra points for things like plenty of towels, welcome food pack, coffee, milk, tea, toilet roll, dish liquid etc. Basically all the things you would normally take to a campsite location you dont need as all there for you!

We used the swimming pool lots on this trip and what a nice start to Xmas day to go for a nice swim then a walk along Marazion Beach and The Mount.

Very tidy place, friendly staff and lovely location. Go and stay you cant lose really!

We booked the Wheal Rodney as a last minute booking the night before arriving. On arrival we found the staff warm and friendly and booking in was simple, the chalet was like going home from home and everything was spotlessly clean. I was amazed to find that half the stuff i packed (Iron ect) wasnt needed as all was provided for no extra charge as i have found with most of the leading holiday parks! The park is set out in a very peaceful and private location and just a short walk to the beach, and we even got a warm welcome from naughty Ralph the site cat :D. We are looking at booking up and coming back in a few months with the little one, I would highly reccommend staying here.

We stayed at Wheal Rodney for 4 nights over New Year. Probably one of the nicest self-catering sites we've been to in Cornwall and we've been to several. The bungalow was clean, warm and welcoming. There was even a Christmas tree, tea, biscuits and a pint of milk awaiting us! Loved the fact it was dog-friendly and just a short walk down to the beach at Marazion. Perfect position to explore Cornwall from. The swimming pool was nice and warm and great for the kids. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back!

We have been staying at Wheal Rodney for the last ten years and it's just got better every year - great facilities, friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, good size pitches and a toasty warm swimming pool! We have camped and stayed in the bungalows, with and without our dogs. It is both child and dog friendly but also peaceful if you fancy a break as a couple. The area is beautiful. We think it's great value and love coming back each year to see the latest improvements. Keep up the good work - looking forward to returning soon!
