Description: Food served throughout the day Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce. From hearty Cornish breakfasts to relaxed lunches and intimate dinners, our menu is inspired by living and working by the sea and produce grown and farmed locally. Fresh daily bakes of the most delicious desserts and cakes are also offered up, to be enjoyed alongside the perfect cappuccino or latte. Where to eat? Lots of natural, light bathed and restful spaces - all with far-reaching views out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Sit in the glass and zinc extension, with doors that open out for al fresco dining during the summer months. Celebrate with family or friends around the intimate Captain's Table that seats 9. On the lower deck, walk straight in off the beach to the colourful and chilled-out beach bar and dining area. Outside, the beach terrace remains a place to linger, absorb the astonishing views and simply watch the world go by.

An amazing restaurant with superb views over St Michael's Mount.
Lunch was served quickly by a young man who was extremely pleasant and efficient.
The food was equally as good the chicken salopina was a real plateful as were the club sandwiches and the stuffed mushrooms. The Sticky toffee puddings are to die for.
All in all a lovely meal in a lovely setting at reasonable prices.

Had our wedding anniversary meal here last week. The food was very good and delivered to the table very promptly. We thought a limited choice for a Saturday night, and found it a little frustrating when we were given the wrong menu (twice) which meant my husband missed out on a couple of meat dishes that other diners were ordering. A bit confusing actually as to why more than one menu was allowed to be issued at the same time! The server attending to us was a lovely chap, but unfortunately very disorganised. He seemed to be rushing around attending to so many tables, he made a few silly errors. The wrong coffee was delivered at the end of the meal and when we received the correct ones, they had overflowed into the saucer! The star that outshone the meal was the view over to St Michael's Mount. Wow - it was stunning. The new restaurant has obviously been designed to take advantage of the view and with the doors drawn completely back on a warm night, meant that the Mount was the true centrepiece of the evening! Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal and I'm sure the little errors we encountered can easily be rectified. Would recommend you visit, if not just to take in the iconic spectacle of what is possibly one of the best views in the country.

PS If you don't like noisy children, then visit after around 7.30 when the little ones have gone home!!

After being closed for sometime for refurbishment, our meal was outstanding the starters were outstanding timbale of fresh Cornish crab and crayfish with advacado salsa exquisite and seafood chowder with focaccia was delightful, and then fresh fish chips and crushed peas with tartare sauce, well it was Friday delicious. The restaurant was very contemporary and our waitress was so friendly and made our first visit very welcoming it was excellent value for money, and I could not fit a sweet in, which was a shame because they looked fab. I would recommend this beautiful place with great views at the drop of a hat and will go back soon being local to the area, what a find.i

Recently undergone a complete re-fit and to a very high standard. Found all serving staff to be very friendly and whilst drinks were a little expensive, the fact you could sit drinking in the sunshine with fantastic views of St Michaels Mount, made the extra cost worthwhile.

Didn't try the food but menu looked good and plenty of people eating. Would certainly recommend, if only for a drink with an unbelievable view!
