Description: Food served throughout the day Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce. From hearty Cornish breakfasts to relaxed lunches and intimate dinners, our menu is inspired by living and working by the sea and produce grown and farmed locally. Fresh daily bakes of the most delicious desserts and cakes are also offered up, to be enjoyed alongside the perfect cappuccino or latte. Where to eat? Lots of natural, light bathed and restful spaces - all with far-reaching views out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Sit in the new glass and zinc extension, with doors that open out for al fresco dining during the summer months. Celebrate with family or friends around the intimate Captain's Table that seats 9 or alternatively, relax in our upper deck that has easy sofas, comfy chairs and a logburner. On the lower deck, walk straight in off the beach to the colourful and chilled-out beach bar and dining area. Outside, the beach terrace remains a place to linger, absorb the astonishing views and simply watch the world go by.

“Amazing service and tasty seafood”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

I visited on a hot summer's evening and sat outside overlooking st Michaels mount. It was the most beautiful setting imaginable. Service was excellent despite being busy and the waiter was so helpful as I have a nut allergy and am gluten free. Food was so different and very tasty. Overall highly recommended.

We came here last year and were never out of the place! This year I don't think we'll be going back. The service wasn't great but the waiting staff were doing their best with what they had, which wasn't a lot, unless you like fish and chips, which was lovely, shame I wanted the Sunday roast, v disappointed

“Lovely food, good service, fab views but Alittle pricey ”
Reviewed 1 August 2014 via mobile

We visited here on what was a very busy, rainy day in the holidays. Firstly, the referb is fab and we were welcomed by friendly, efficient staff. We opted for a fish platter which was really tasty and plentiful. As there was afew of us sharing they offered us the larger portion of chips, which really was just a slightly larger bowl and even though they really were delicious chips, they charged us £6 for them which was abit excessive! So my only negative comment would be pricey chips but lovely, all round experience, with lovely, friendly staff

“Lunch most days this week”
Reviewed 1 August 2014 via mobile

We first saw the makeover in April and wondered how long it would stay looking new most areas have survived upto now, the toilets are showing signs of wear quite badly.
We have eaten in here for lunch 5 times this week, kids pizza is nice and it's doesn't look shop bought, kids cheese and ham toastie is also nice. We have had mussels, stir fry both lovely but the mushroom dish and the club sandwich were not the best we have had.
It's saving grace is the view and it always looks better when you have a glass of something fizzy to look through. Prosecco by the half litre recommended
