“Very Comfortable Stay”
Reviewed 1 September 2013

Although we only stayed one night, we were made very welcome from the start. We were shown to a nice double room that was both clean and comfortable. Rosario is set right in the heart of Marazion, so is convenient for all the local services and is just across the road from the beach. Breakfast was lovely, and included the usual variety of cereals, fruit juices etc. The cooked breakfast was very good and included good quality sausages and bacon, unlike some establishment we have stayed in recently. Recommended.

Room Tip: The double room at the front has the best view.

Enjoyed our stay very much in this left field, laid back guest house. Very comfortable and clean. Michael, mine host, is en excellent chef who knows his way around a kitchen ! Quite a character too ! House is right in the centre of Marazion and has plenty of pubs and good restaurants nearby. Recommended.

Just spent 7 nights in the Rosario, didn't want to leave. Stayed in room number 3, which was very comfortable, spacious and welcoming at the end of our busy days, the sea views from our room over to St Michael's Mount was outstanding. Mike and Lee very helpful and accommodating with useful advice and helpful tips on places to visit. If you are staying in Marazion for a few days the open top tour bus is a must, you wont regret it, also good value. Will certainly book the Rosario again if back in the wonderful location of Marazion.

We had a twin ensuite room with a wonderful view on St. Michael's Mount. The b&b is in town centre, just opposite the beach. They haven't private car park, but there's a pay and display in the nearby (where you can leave the car to visit St. Michael's mount). We had a spacious twin room, bathroom was big and very clean. Good breakfast.

Gorgeous, spotless an great breakfast! We can not recommend this B&B highly enough. We had a twin room with an amazing view of St Michaels Mount. The weather was amazing during our stay. For anyone who is thinking of a fleeting visit just to see St Michaels Mount please take a break at this B&B. The Breakfasts were really good, oh ok then Michael excellent! There are also washing, drying facilities. A must is Ben's Cornish Kitchen for food and there is an amazing deli down the road. Michael our host was very funny and really helpful!!! If we are ever in that amazing part of the world again we would not stay anywhere else. Thank you.

Room Tip: To be honest all the rooms were beautiful!

Called in to the tea rooms at approximately 2.30 on Wednesday 3rd July. After a less than friendly welcome for a man (didnt introduce himself) who told us "sit down and well serve you". We did what were told and cleaned the dirty table ourselves. A very limited menu awaited us but we ordered 1 crab sandwich, 1 cornish tea, 1 child's ham sandwich, 1 scone for a child and 2 hot chocolates. Scones were tiny and dry. Crab was from a tin or frozen and was tasteless. Tea was barely warm and hot water provided was same. Very small amount of tired garnish on crab sandwich plate. Just before we left, the same man that had greeted us decided to stand by our table looking over the wall and we felt quite uncomfortable. We duly got our things and left. I went to pay and the lady (owner, waitress - who knows) said £27.60. No how was your snack, meal, experience - just £27.60. By this stage I was very uneasy so I paid. I was going to ask her for a receipt to satisfy my curiosity as to how such a total was arrived at but she went in to kitchen and took change out from a kitchen drawer, I realised this may be difficult. Only bad point of a wonderful week spent in Cornwall.
